Re: What the FUCk is this HUMMing SOund
OMFG,i remember when i huffed gasoline(REALLY LONG TIME AGO)

When your brain is starting to get deprived of oxygen, and your slowly hallucinating, you start hearing this really REALLY fucked up sound.

It sounds like the CPU of the universe,or a huge ventilation system of dimensions that keeps humming and humming.

It's not even a humming, more like a rattling scalar frequency generator that's resonating against steel/metallic walls, but the walls appear to be all around you like the whole essence of space was metallic, and the sound was resonating against it.

I don't know how similar this is to the sound you hear, but it's the only thing i can think of,because it's been more than once when i've sensed things on drugs that i haven't sensed while sober.

BTW,huffing gasoline=massive braindamage, don't do it...i only did it a couple of times. But the high is so FUCKED UP.

You totally zone out,and eventually you see yourself as a cog in the whole machine of the universe.Constant DejaVu and you know exactly what's going to happen 5 seconds before it happens.

For example, your friend says something, and you suddenly realize that this is all preprogrammed and the next thing he is going to say, will exactly be the thing that you see before he says it.And this is true.
 Quoting: Xibalbá be

Excessive Nitrous Oxide huffing produces a similar result...but THAT throbbing sound is distinctly different than this diesel idling noise. I concur that curious extra-sensory and 'beyond our time/space boundaries' experiences happen when dosing seriously this way.

There is considerable evidence that we can each control our bubble of time in this space constraint...and perhaps the spacial components as well...but I got the distinct feeling and understanding, while emptying an old friend's 100-lb tank of NO2 after some rave party, that the throbbing was actually the ECHO off the boundaries of our time/space bubble.

Read up on perceptual speed...how each of us has some delay in reacting to stimulii...then also study some on meditation techniques and yogic wisdom...and hopefully you'll understand where I'm coming from here. Yogis have long been able to manipulate time/space, as well as the Native or Indigenous gurus/shaman.

There ARE natural substances which can help train an individual to 'handle' being totally in control of their extra-sensory selves...their mystic natures beyond the obvious. In the proper contect, Ayhuasca...mushrooms...natural LSD...can each and all open one's perceptions to this 'other'. Cannabis 'honey oil' and even properly-processed pure cured tobacco can also take one on a curious trip into the 'just beyond'.

So...yeah, you're onto something, but while it may be related to what we're discussing...I think the general hum is not the exact same thing.

Cheers

Re: What the FUCk is this HUMMing SOund
It would be interesting to find out how just how old most of the people are on here that’s hearing the dreaded hummmmmmm, my experience started when I'd just turned around the 40 years old, i'm now 46 and it seems to be getting louder and louder ? I've asked younger people do any of you hear the strange hummmmmm but not many do? only people who are over the 40ish age, i'm from the UK, as you may already know, its a big issue over here with in the UK mainly the middle/old age group hearing this noise...

I’ve also read some stories from old books and on the internet about ancient rock painting or cave art where people are holding there hands over the head/ ears driving them mad...... and a image of the earth looking like its resonating some sort of loud sounds, not long after many people villages/communities disappeared from the face of the earth after everyone seeing large flying crafts / Gods from the Heavens took them all leaving only few people… I hope this isn’t whats coming in 2012 :( I'll try find the images/stories so you can all read it, by the look of things the older villages heared the same sound as were hearing all over the world

Curious.

I'm 47 and my girlfriend is 48.

She cannot hear it.

Today the hum is particularly strong...it is distracting me again, even AFTER learning those copping mechanisms from my previous post.

Going to get those earplugs...

Tell us if the earplugs work. The noise I have heard since I was a child is definitely not environmentally produced. Either earth magnetics or harmonics...or frequency resonance in the brain. Ear plugs didn't work for me. Mine seem timed to lunar cycles. But not exclusively enough to form a rule or perceive a cause. Luckily mine don't last too long. Just like someone hits you over the head with a frequency oscillation and then it's gone.

Those flexible silicone earplugs from Mack's...available often at drug stores like CVS...work very well.

Foam earplugs do next to NOTHING.

They have to seal tightly.

Some still FEEL the vibration...I'm pretty certain it is ElectroMagnetic in nature, but barely intrudes upon the audible portion of our natural hearing spectrum.

I haven't tried to isolate it and measure the fundamental frequency and harmonics...but I'm most certain it is man-made. There may be natural things which exacerbate it cyclically, I haven't tied it to the Moon Cycle yet.

Thanks for that tip!

Cheers

Geez...I just got out my pack, and Mack's is a MICHIGAN company...I had no idea.

Maybe twenty-five minutes north of where I sit typing this...wasn't expecting that!

I have the humming too.
Somewone said it was from heavy metal poisoning such as mercury fillings.
I need t get some epsom salts.

You don't know a thing about dentistry in America up until the last couple of decades.

They weren't straight mercury...it was an amalgam

Very commonly done here. Only a few dentists will take 'em out, too.

For the past month or so I have been hearing a very low level humming sound. No one else hears it and I'm starting to wonder WTF is going on. I hear it mostly at night and early morning, because I'm guessing it's the quiet time of the day (night).

This humming is not constant, it sounds like an electric motor trying to cycle. I've turned off all the curcuits in the house so I know it's not from within the house. I can even hear it when I'm out in the woods or at the neighbors house.
It's really starting to bug me out!

And no it's not tinnitus.

Bumping for relevance.

The hum in Detroit is strong today...usually not this loud except at night.

Listening to the beat harmonic against the roar of the refrigerator motor, it is certainly higher pitched...but not by much.

The harmonic content...especially towards ELF...is rich.

So...curiouser and curiouser this mystery becomes.

Ive heard it too. I've gotten in my car and tried to drive to where it's coming from. But when I get there, it's yet further away in another direction. I've never found it. It's like surround sound buzzing or humming. Mostly in summer. Always at night.

LOL, yeah...that was me up in northern Michigan this past summer!

I had grown sensitive to this after moving into my girlfriend's old house east of Detroit, and when we went up to Petoskey for a week it destroyed half of my working postulates and drove me quite batty.

Went walking around in the wee hours, searching for that distant diesel drone. Never found it, it never got louder...never changing in amplitude one whit.

But that experience made my postulate of large vehicle work in the salt mines under the city moot.

Because of my knowledge of the human "machine's" extraordinary ElectroMagnetic sensitivity along with secret government operations using the power grid as antennae to manipulate it (an interpolation between data points, but a valid and secure one), that is my first choice for working theories. Got this information secondhand, but from a trustworthy source who had NO reason to make it up. He was warned away from advertising a certain aspect of his AC line purifier by a friend who did research at the UofC-Berkley on governmental Top Secret projects.

Fact that when it changes pitch or intensity, it has always been on the hour or halfway thereof, shows me that there is some human programming directing it.

If it were load related with the transformers, it would increase when people came home and turned on all their lights. As they went to sleep it would alter again. Those happen relatively consistently, daily, and I do not sense that periodic a change in this tone.

Nah, I've got to get on with my experiments in Faraday shielding/caging...and would LOVE to hear from others who've attempted anything of the sort.

I travel alot, many lat & longs. I hear it louder in some areas than others. Drives me nuts.
I too have asked my younger friends if they here it. Nope. My last friend I asked in norcal on the coast was mid 40es and said nope. was very loud to me.
I didnt read every post so forgive me if this has been said.
I also like to travel alot to the tropics so my joints dont hurt so. I never hear the hum south of a certain lat. I havent figured out which one yet. I also never see chemtrails this far south either. Right now I am on the tropic of cancer. never a hum. No chemtrails. the same when I traveled in India in 2009.

I've been hearing this exact same hum, for five years now, believe I was 25 when I first noticed. My girlfriend, about my age hears it as well, though not at first, I pointed it out every time it happened until one night we both heard it at the same time and said out loud at the same time, 'do you hear that?'. We were in Washington then, now in Hawaii and it's here as well.
So we 'younger ones' can hear it as well, though...I don't know anyone else our age that can hear it? My mom in Oregon says she hears it at night as well. On really bad chemtrail days it's worse(yes Hawaii gets them), even during the day i can hear it at times but more importantly if I'm not paying attention(not aware or ignoring the hum) it seems to affect my mood, i get irritable and disconnected but as soon as i catch myself and question "WHY" am I feeling this way and start soul searching the 'hum' becomes apparent and I snap out of my mood?
ELF waves? Perhaps those that can hear the hum are less affected in a way? Hate to say it but perhaps the older and wiser ones that have been around allot longer then we younger ones are simply more "aware" and therefore it manifests as a sound rather then a mental/emotional level.

Chemtrails are heavy here brah, I've watched them spray in Waimea early one morning(they finished at 5:30ish A.M.), also doing a grid between Maui and Hawi(on Big Island)at mid day but mostly they spray at night or just off shore because as we all know, contrails DO NOT FORM here so they cannot use that excuse, now VOG however THAT is the perfect excuse. Do you honestly believe that they wouldn't use an isolated military oriented island for testing there best shit??? Seriously??
I'm sorry but we're not excluded
Wake up when the sun is coming up, go outside and look up, do you ever see the sharp straight lines with the feathers coming off of them, they spread out, that is a chemtrail that was sprayed only an hour ago or less. In Waikoloa I've watched the sun come up to find a deep blue sky with zigzaging checkerboard style sharp freshly sparyed lines all across it. then witnessed them spread out till the sky was silver blue and hazy, I moved here to get away from it, no such luck. The humming I hear in North Kohala, but not so much in Waikoloa? Not sure I've noticed it in Kona.

Re: What the FUCk is this HUMMing SOund
OK, some interesting news.

I've tried a few things, including those silicone ear plugs to soaking my head. Literally.

Positive results all around, although I'm not sure the mechanism that might explain 'why'...but it has to do with the auditory perception system.

I know I'm over-sensitive to this hum, and have other perceptual curiosities that have allowed me some infamy in my industry and with my clients. I get to play with very high-end hifi gear, because it seems I perceive enough to set the stuff up to get the most out of it.

Plus, I experiment endlessly on everything, due my Asperger's Sydrome and very busy brain.

So...back to the hum at hand. A few years ago, a shaman in Taos told me that I needed to soak in epsom salts for spiritual as well as physical reasons. I had largely forgotten this advice, until I was able to fix my new girlfriend's tub...as with MOST people, she is a showerer not a soaker (although I'm very quickly re-introducing her to this beautiful inexpensive daily 'spa vacation' treatment and meditation/prayer!).

As I prayed about this hum...first in desperation in order to just make it go away because it bugged me, which morphed into a spiritual struggle where I toyed with returning this energy to its source to bring the propogators to their senses and tug at their consciences to help them see the light...then in acquiesence to learn if it was only nefarious or if it could be turned to a 1000 times positive (which the Maker I serve just LOVES to do, apparently, with even the most negative of plans and actions), and finally for WISDOM to know more about the whole phenomena (which is probably where I should've started in the FIRST place, but desperation usually doesn't immediately appeal for inner growth!).

I was 'sent' on a series of experiments, some of which I've detailed here already. The silicone earplugs work for the worst of night-time distractions, allowing me to sleep through the night without being awoken periodically (which oddly and distubringly happened exactly on the hour, usually near three or four in the morning) AND oddly causing my ongoing sinus infection to be more tame.

THAT sinus stuff led me back to the soaking in Espom Salts...which back when I was doing it regularly, I learned how to let it fill my sinus cavity underwater and heal the raw tissue from my continual nose blowing from some infection caused by a weakened immune system. I've known for a long time that I needed to address this cause, but going through the intestinal cleanse and required dietary focus has been WAY more than I could put energy to.

Yesterday, when I finally dared to do it...the first time out above the waterline, the hum was simply GONE. I know it was still there, because I could still 'feel' the pressure...but that annoying and bothersome audible noise was simply not there, as long as there was some water still in my sinus cavity...perhaps equalizing the pressure on the eardrum or other parts of the complex and mysterious hearing sense of ours.

I checked again today, and absolutely the annoyance is GONE after soaking...although the sensitivity to the noise returns in small doses as things dry out. I believe the sinus infection, perhaps coupled with the immune system imbalance, put my head into a pressure condition which makes the hum THAT much more audibly annoying to the point of abject distraction.

I am now on an immune system restoration plan, but these things usually take weeks and this is only halfway through day one.

I will continue the Espom Salt soaks, and have the chance to sample the state of hum in San Diego over the weekend. I will be able to soak and such there and will report as anything dawns upon me.

I sincerely hope this helps some of y'all cope with this...and I need to mention that my solutions do NOT negate the probability that this hum is part of the mass mind control...since I know of MK-Ultra experiments to this effect and that even as recent as ten years ago academics bound by non-disclosure agreements with the government (due the nature of their research) were still playing with the induction of tones through the electrical grid which would be perceived by the senses beyond our most blatant five.

Cheers and more from VERY chilly and relatively snowblind Detroit...
 Quoting: Gannon

microwaves are effectively blocked by metal and absorbed by water. microwaves emitted from cell towers are causing you this problem, water is why soaking helps. after you dry out it will come back. wear a shielded cap/hat or stick aluminium on your walls and ceiling. goodluck
