i have heard this hum for over a year now in southeast US .. if I 'tune' into it during meditation and often when just in quiet thought .. I have spontaneous OBE's which lead to lucid states in layers of dimensions. I realize this sounds "nuts" but it's the truth and has lead me to really search for the meaning , it's fascinating and I don't think dangerous .. i hope not : )
