It is more than likely that he lived and that the solar mythos was incorporated into the story. There have been over 16 crucified saviors many of them being born of a virgin. There are to many parallels in the story of Jesus and other myths to be a coincidence. But to argue this point is to miss the essence of the story and why christianity is the most profound of all the religions and philosophies that I'm aware of.

In the writing aoout Jesus and what he says himself in the gospels gives us some clues. I came to fulfill the law. What law. The law of cause and effect, you reap what you sow, an eye for an eye. How to transmute karma or the law if you like. It is through forgiveness of yourself and others. And this leads to a life full of grace as the christians call it. Weather the rest of the story is true does not matter as long as you take that away from the story. Judge not, this includes yourself. Do I like the present christian religion, no. They miss the point totally. It is easier to forgive others than yourself. Not just empty words, real forgiveness. Forgiveness only comes through understanding yourself and others without understanding there can be no forgiveness. Understanding of what. Yourself, why you did what you did. Understanding your thinking and motivations and were they came from. Then you can also understand others and have true forgiveness. Have fun

If you were Rome and wanted to control the masses, you would better repackage then create new, just as they are doing today.

The fact that the Pope claimed equality with Christ shows evidence that Jesus Christ existed. Most of the criticism of Christianity blames Rome for creating it, but they didn't, they simply repackaged the followers of Jesus Christ or the Way.

Also interesting is the Catholic church does not follow scripture and at one time in the 1200's tried to destroy all bibles. So you see true christianity and the bible existed prior to the Roman Church. The Roman church changed the faith and turned it into a system that contradicted scripture. The Pope became in their eyes Christ on earth and usurped the Bible. The Vatican was and still is the abomination that causes desolation and Mystery Babylon.

The Catholic church is still at work today watering down the faith and heading the ecumenical movement to blend all religions together.

The issue in our world is not really whether Jesus existed but who exactly he is and what did he teach.

Actually you have it the other way around.

Because the walk of Jesus Christ and the Bible's take of him presents such an infallible character, the biggest effort that the men inspired by Satan try to do is pretend that Christ didn't exsit at all.

They try to take his words out of context, twist Biblical parables, etc, but the biggest efforts are made to erase the existence of Christ (nevermind the calendar is based around his life)

Im sure there is lots of documentation of his life that has been destroyed as a part of this.

It's no different than the elite that try to hide history of the Rothschilds and the occult

Don't the records of the trials of Pontias Pilate still exist? Is it true that there is no record of a "Jesus" in the trials of Pontias Pilate?

Didn't the "jews" keep meticulous birth records, especially of the lineage of "David"? Is there a record of the birth of "Jesus" as a descendant of "David"? Are the "jews" still keeping birth records of the lineage of "David", or does the birth records of the "jews" show the lineage of "David" stopping with "Jesus"?

External evidence means sources outside of the Bible. This section discusses ancient artifacts and the writings of Josephus that verify Luke to be a credible historian and author. If Luke wrote it, you can depend on it because Luke checked it out.

* Evidence No. 1: Archaeological evidence: Ancient burial box called the James ossuary was revealed in 2002. And probability calculations support that this is the ossuary of James at the 99.9997% confidence level. In addition, Luke traveled with the Apostle Paul. Both men met and talked with James based on Acts 21:18. Luke writes that his sources were people who knew Jesus. "Just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word" (Luke 1:2). This challenges the Q-source theory of modern scholars, which claims that Luke learned about Jesus from reading what others wrote of him. Luke talked with people who knew Jesus face-to-face. It is credible to assume that Luke also read sources of people who knew Jesus face-to-face.

Finally, Josephus wrote that James was martyred due to political and religious issues (dated to 62 CE). This turns out to be an important "KEY" that isolates when Luke wrote the gospel of Luke & the book of Acts.

The idea that Jesus was made up by Constantine/Vatican/etc in the 4th century doesn't have any merit.

Unless you blame the guys who wrote the gnostic gospels of making up Jesus.

PBS has a show on right now,showing and discussing the Exodus and Abramites entry into Canaan. While this is not directly about Jesus,it is right up the Jesus debunkers ally. In other words,more evidence they are wrong,speculative,bitter,whatever.
