In Esfahan, Iran, the sun was about 20% covered when Mohamad Soltanolkotabi photographed these crescents decorating the floor of the Sheikh Lutffullah mosque.

"Sunlight beaming through windows in the Mosque's dome created these eclipsed suns on the floor," he explains.
