No large EQ in California soon
Quote

I don't care what people say etc. There won't be a large EQ within the next 2 weeks or a month because of this sneeze we just had.

Everyone and their dog is coming out ion EQ forums saying I'VE GOT A BAD FEELING, now that it happened.

Let me tellz ya. This stupid kid named Jason at JOB's' board says "I've Got A Feeling About This" every damn week. Gosh how many feelings do you gotta have for a quake till you finally get one? Still does not mean someone predicted it. Even a damn clock is right twice in an earth day when broken.

I recall a "sizable quake" wasn't expected THIS YEAR by a so called Texas Uncensored back when I predicted a Southern California quake due to climate patterns a few months ago.
Was told, "Not this year" Ok you lost now what? Should I listen to you? Hell no.

Over the next couple weeks we will hear more on this possible quake. The only big quake to come to Southern California will be when EVERYONE least expects it. This happens all the time. We might see signs that will or will not produce a quake but we will not have one sole predictor.

So, in other words, YOU will be RIGHT (again) and everybody else will be WRONG, right? pennywise

As Bozo The Clown used to say;

"Sole prediction is just that.. a sense of "knowing" .. but it gets lost in the glom of a zillon other Bozos that say they 'KNEW it' FIRST."

I always poo-poo the guys that say they "Knew it First" because there's a million others who had that inner knowing.. its ordinary human intuition and NOBODY is special.

Get that? Nobody is special.

Still don't understand?

I said,
Nobody is special.

Now, get on the bus, Bozos & Bozoettes.

Thats what makes Bozo so special.
He rides with the Special Education Kids on the Special Bus.

But, they really aren't special.

Kevin knows absolutely nothing about earthquakes, so his opinion is meaningless. But, in this case, I would have to say that he is probably right.

If you are trying to pinpoint the location of a large tremblor (7-8+), the general rule of thumb is that you will see 2 foreshocks of moderate intensity (5-6+) 1-9 hours preceeding the main event at the epicenter area. Not unlike preceeding volcanic events where we see 4+ swarms in the weeks preceeding the eruption.

We know this from recorded history and the geologic record.

Carry on.

eom.
