It's working fine as far as I know; have you tried resetting your password via the 'forget your password' link?

Thanks for your reply 4by2. I tried that and got a message which said. Will send email info on how to reset password, but I never got the email.

The problem has started I think when I sent you a paypal payment last Sunday AEST for a 4 month subscription under my previous user name Sillygalah. GLP successfully received the payment and I got a msg to say paid up member or similar. After logging in successfuly to the members area on Sunday, all I did was successfully change my user name to Bugsy Malone. I also successfully downloaded an avatar pending GLP's approval of the picture.

Since this time I have not been able to log in at all and I have had no msg from GLP with info' on how to reset my password. I enjoy GLP (first place I look hen I want to see what is going on) and I thought it was time I sent something towards maintenance of the site, however it's not much use if I can't access the members area.

I wrote to Sergio today but as yet have had no reply.

Many thanks in advance. I will bump this thread later tonight when more people are around and hopefully I might get a solution.

some time ago i had the same problem, couldn't log in and never got a email to recover my PW. additionally my question never was answered why it didn't work anymore.

later on i found out that my username and avatar was changed to something VERY insulting. this clearly was done on purpose and i've loooooong ago given up getting back my account since then.

my advice: forget it, they won't give your account back to ya'. if they don't like ya' (for whatever reason) and can't drive you out, they will make your account inaccessible.

Thanks for that Grey; I really appreciate you passing the message on. Perhaps it is something to do with having my avatar approved? The picture is a harmless as the flowers in May.
