Judge: Denver CAN Restrict PROTESTS.... BYE BYE FREE SPEECH!!! Hello 4th REICH!

Hey you know what, i have seen a fleet of brand new big huge box trucks around the Denver city police shops that have a bunch of lights around the top and video cameras mounted by the lights, the cameras have the look like some old mid 80's outdoor security cameras. The trucks i have seen are white or red . I am going to try to get some pics soon.

Their biggest fear is that the protest would be/are nonviolent.
Protesters are guilty before the fact. Where is the evidence that says all protest are violent?

She admits that they (protesters) would suffer some infringement on their freedom of expression but said those interests had to be balanced with security concerns.

I live in Denver. The media and politicians have been pumping the civil unrest message for months, creating possible and unnecessary fretting among people; you know, people repeat and believe whatever the media reads. By toying with the permit process they just irritate. By some overheard comments, some of the police may be looking for heads to break; others are more reasonable. By making it impossible, so far, for potentially large numbers of people (protesters) to camp out in the parks, they ensure groups of very tired, grumpy people who could be tipped over the edge (yes, it would be an exception to allow camping out, but then...this is an extraordinary circumstance). I think someone is working very hard to create a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I am not involved with the protests and intend to stay as far away as possible from convention activities. They are going to close down busy streets and a stretch of I-25 during active and rush hour traffic. Parts of LoDo will not be normally accessible. Some businesses, it is said on the media, may close for the duration because of the circumstances. They are going to make a mess.

As far as I am concerned, neither candidate is appropriate for presidential office. McCain's drift is easy to see. "Dreams of My Father" tells you what you need to know about Obama; and if you think he's a dear after reading, then you sat on the book and read with your nether-hole instead of your eyes.

In Denver, it might be something of nothing. There's a lot of energy pumping something. The question would be "Why"?
