actually I have noticed similar things several times. Moon being on the wrong place looking really weird. I mean, it was all just normal if not for it being 180 degrees on the wrong side. I saw this in several countries the last 12 months.
Last tiem was last week when I saw the moon again opposit from where it usually is. Makes no sense to me either.

If I remember correctly, Jaqueline Susann died not too long after thaat book was published, in somewhat questionable circumstances. Can't remember the details.

hi i saw moonlike sphere in vt. april 25 11 pm reported to police, planetariums mufon etc. it didnt break up just vanished after 30 secnds could not beleive it! there was no moon that night! no phone reception so no cell with me

I had a experience whilst on gaurd duty in the army
Sept 89 in Bethlehem , South Africa
I was sitting in my tower eating biscuits when I noticed what I thought was the moon just above a water tower on the top of hill
I froze in fear when the dam thing moved slowly towards me and stoped about 300 m away then it to my right lighting up the roof tops of the houses in the town as it passed over it then just made a line into the night sky and was gone
It never made a sound and never took of when leaving it jus looked like a laser beam had switch on and off

My mother who is now in her seventies and her older brother have talked about an experience they had around 1947. My mother was about 9 and her brother early teens. They described it: They were both walking along what is named John Barrow road in Little Rock, Arkansas as they noticed an object hovering along at about tree top level. It was at night and the object was so bright that my uncle who was reading a book and walking could see quite clearly from it's light it shone so brightly. My mom said that it made no sound and described it as appearing like a replica of the Moon. They continued to walk along the then, dirt road towards their house which was situated upon a hilltop. It stayed at tree height for about 3-5 miles. My mom was only 9 and did not feel afraid because her older brother did not seem like it frightened him in the least. Mom felt as if the object was watching her and her brother as they walked. As they approached their home the object appeared as if it was going to crash upon the rooftop of the house. That is when my mom and uncle became afraid and started screaming. Mom cried out " brother it's going crash into the house and kill mom and dad ! " About that time it hovered and darted to the right abruptly and whizzed at lightning speed and disappeared into the night sky.

im from germany and did a vacation with my wife together with our friends in Sweden in summer 2010. We had a house in a forrest near a lake. One night we all where sitting outside. me and my wife were sitting in direction to the trees and the others where sitting towards us. I looked up and there was a sphere, illuminated, but not bright, looking like a moon. My wife saw it also. But because it looked to strange to be the moon ( it was to big/ near, to deep, to perfect with no marks) and when the moon looked like this the hole night, we have had recognized it earlier that night allready. Because it was hidden lightly behind the trees, both of us jumped up to get a better look und because we couldnt belive what we have just seen. But as we took the second look ( the time between the first sighting and the second look was maybe 2 seconds) it was gone.

it was very wiered for us, something we couldnt explain to our selves.. But in our group we where the only persons who have seen this phenomenom, because we where the only one who looked in this direction.

i dont want to claim, that we have seen an UFO, but it was there und we couldt say what it was.

Last night I saw a halo around moon, no big deal seen that before. But the funny thing was a contrail in the sky went right across the moon and made the ring look like the symbol Stop. Wish I would have had a camera.

yep. I saw that in about 98 above monticito sb and north.

I saw a moon-like object in April of 1998 in Bellevue, WA. I thought at first it was the moon, but remembered the moon was first quarter that night. The object was huge, close and appeared to shimmer. It stood still while I watched in shock and very suddenly it took off and disappeared.

yeah I saw a green florescent 'moon' float across the night sky right next to an air force base. No sound almost as big as full moon. Of course I have seen so many unusual UFOs it's almost maddening.

I've seen this exact object . It hoovered outside of my house for several hours, I noticed flashing lights in my back window when I went to the window to see what it was, this moon shaped object was the only thing in the sky . I watched it for quite some time . I noticed it would move behind the branches of my tree as if it was hiding from me . over and over it kept moving from my line of sight . At that point I knew it was something odd , I woke up a girlfriend of mine who was staying the night and showed it to her . We both went outside to get a better look . It looked like a small oddly shaped moon with a tiny porthole on the top right (from our perspective) we both agreed it looked very strange and was definitely not the moon as we knew it .. So I decided we would get in my truck and follow it . We saw something absolutely unexplainable that night and it has changed our lives forever . is there anyway we could talk about this ? I'm interested in more details about your story and I would like to share the rest of my story with you . I've been looking for a long time to talk with someone else with this same experience .
