You know..thinking back to this event (I watched it on pay per view) had a big impact on me. It was just TWO years later that I was touring with a jazz group internationally and the wall had just come down in Germany.

At first, it was looking like our tour was going to be canceled, but then...we got to go into East Germany and play...

All I can say is what an experience...for those that are always so quick to condemn people of countries/nations, religion and genders...please ....travel...meet people around the world and you will find that they are just the same as you.

I hope we can all find a little peace and love in the turbulent times ahead.
