Seriously guys, this is an out of the way area, away from major population AND MOST OF THE FOLKS THAT LIVE THERE ARE MIDDLE EASTERN. North west Toronto has more Indian people that India.
so WTF does that mean? It is not bad when it happens to middle eastern peopel or people from India? What kidn of retard are you!

You're a fucking idiot.
It means that it was highly unlikely that it was a terror attack as they would be attacking a middle eastern population and a propane company that no one gives a shit about. Use your fucking brain you half wit.
A very similar explosion in Kansas City this summer: a tank containing 882,000 gallons of unleaded gasoline exploded into a huge fire that raged for days.

I'm also the kind of retard that can spell "kind" and "people".
Holy shit. I'm still baffled as to how fucking dumb you are. Seriously. How do you even get out of bed without shitting on yourself, you mongoloid.
How could you draw anything but the point of this not being a terror attack from my post. Jesus fuck. You are, without a doubt, the dumbest fucking person I have come across in my lifetime.
You would finish out of contention in a hugging contest at the special olympics. That's how goddam stupid you are.
My feeling is sabotage as canada has alot of propane and it helps many in the NE due to extreme cold weather-many have propane as their source as it is cheaper and there are vast quantities of it up north-seems right in line with trying to escalate the fuel dilemma-
Just another opportunity for HChavez to give more charity to America-like last yr MASS received mega charity from him and his country and this yr it might be NH....
Since it is in an area of Middle Easterners I would not be surprised if they get blamed for it but it was others trying to sow division-as if it were terrorists of ME descent than why would they blow up their own neighborhood????More likely, others far removed would do it there to IMPLICATE THEM

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

I know the area well - My mom lives less than a mile away. I also lived in the same area for many years before moving to northern Ont. Could have been started by lightening. Good thing it wasn't the gas depot up near Finch & Dufferin.
Please keep these residents in your prayers until all the fires are put out.
Worried relatives of Toronto evacuees asked to leave message at 416-736-5185
26 minutes ago
TORONTO — Firefighters are close to extinguishing all of the burning tanks at the propane facility in northwest Toronto that exploded Sunday morning, significantly reducing the risk of another blast and giving thousands of evacuees hope they can return homes by early afternoon.
Division Cmdr. Bob O'Hallarn told a news conference the powerful early morning blast at Sunrise Propane Industrial Gases in the Keele and Wilson area burned a huge area of the neighbourhood, and with intense heat.
He said given the impact of the blast, the city's residents "got off very lucky."
"There was a very, very large amount of fire when we arrived and the extent of the explosion if the blast was heard as far away as it was, could have been much more serious," O'Hallarn said.
"Hopefully we won't find that there are a lot of people missing or injured but so far it looks like we got off very lucky."
Residents in the area were shaken out of sleep by a thunderous explosion and vibrant orange balls of fire lighting up the sky when tanks at the propane depot blew up at about 3:50 a.m.
Fearing the air had turned toxic, police used bullhorns to order the estimated 12,500 residents within a 1.6-kilometre radius of the plant to flee their homes immediately. Air quality tests later in the day showed the explosion was not toxic, but police continued to ask people to leave the hot spot and take shelter in nearby York University.
Some people raced out of their homes still wearing their pyjamas, grabbing only their loved ones and pets. Others piled into cars to drive out of the area to the safety of the homes of friends.
O'Hallarn said officials want to get people back home as soon as possible.
"I certainly don't think it will be days, I think it will be hours," he said at a news conference held before noon.
"But that all depends on what we run into. If we run into some more problems or problems that we don't see now, then it could be longer."
O'Hallarn said he was aware of only minor injuries among residents, although one person is unaccounted for.
The pre-dawn blasts set off a chaotic scene with terrified residents running from homes damaged by fire and shattered glass.
Police said a no-fly zone for small aircraft was ordered above the site of the explosion and the city's busiest highways were ordered shut, snarling traffic for thousands of travellers unable to exit Highways 401 and 400 for kilometres.
Subways to the area were also curtailed.
Emergency crews had been fearful of another explosion as two railway tanks continued to burn more than six hours after the explosion. The tanks have the capacity to hold up to 220,000 litres of propane, although officials said they believed they were not full.
But by noon, they seemed under control.
One by one, witnesses recalled the booming noise, acrid charcoal smell and electric light of the blasts.
Some likened the force to that of an earthquake. A soldier said it reminded him of war. One terrified woman said she thought the end of the world had arrived.
"It was just a tremendous explosion and blew all the windows out of the house, just blew the house up, and I just managed to get out of there in time," said Robert Halman, who was covered in cuts and bruises as he fled his home.
Halman said he saw a "huge fireball" and heard "multiple explosions," and, as he ran out of his house, a "wave of a heat" was not far behind.
Ricardo Oliveira, 24, was on the third floor of his house when he received a call from his girlfriend who heard the explosion and was frightened. He told her it was probably just a thunder storm, but then came an unmistakable blast.
"My windows just cracked and they blew out," Oliveira said.
"My whole room lights up orange and I look out. I live on the top floor so I had a perfect view. And I just seen a huge ball of flame hundreds of metres in the sky, big black pillars of smoke."
"We got freaked out. My family woke up. They thought it was a plane that went down," he said.
The first explosion sounded like a thunderclap, so loud it could be heard at least seven kilometres away.
It was followed by a series of more muffled explosions.
An emergency worker with Bombardier, which has a facility in the area, said he saw houses on fire. The worker, who did not want to be identified, also said he saw propane tanks dropping from the sky.
Police brought in buses to take residents out of the area, some wearing masks.
An emergency worker said evacuees could find help at York University. Food, shelter and counsellors were available. Worried relatives were asked to phone 416-736-5185.
About a dozen terrified residents - some clad in pyjamas and housecoats - found their way on foot to nearby Yorkdale shopping mall, where security offered them water and a place to rest until they found shelter elsewhere.
Some reported that a woman covered in burns was taken by ambulance to hospital after her ceiling collapsed on top of her. Others paced the mall entrance waiting for word from loved ones or police, anxious to return to their homes.
Beatrice Zampini, 48, wiped away tears as she sat in the mall's makeshift emergency shelter, her teenage son and daughter by her side. She hadn't heard from her husband, Gino, who disappeared in the midst of the chaos.
"He was going to check on my parents, but the explosions were getting louder and louder, so the three of us just ran and ran and ran," she said.
Her daughter Daniela, 19, woke up to the explosion, which sent her ceiling light crashing to the ground. She fled outside with her family, only to find the street teeming with panicked neighbours.
"Everyone outside was saying, 'Run like hell!"' she said.
"Everyone was just running down the street. It was like something from a movie."
Many angry residents in the area they describe as a tight-knit community where extended families live a few doors from each other were demanding to know why such a facility was ever allowed in their established residential neighbourhood.
Josei Miceli, 59, who has lived there for 40 years says the area is full of elderly people who aren't mobile.
"We were concerned when this company moved at the end of the street," said Miceli, who snatched her small Yorkshire terrier, Harley, before fleeing her home.
"But we weren't even advised that they were going to be there. They just moved in and we've been concerned since they were there that something like this would happen. I'm surprised that they let a company like that move in a residential area."
One angry resident, who told CP24 that a layer of skin was scorched right off his back when a fireball struck him, said he wants to know who issued the permit for the propane depot.
"They should be liable," said the visibly shaken man.
"I'm speechless. I don't know what to say."
O'Hallarn said he understands the concerns, but said such plants have to exist.
"We have to put them somewhere," he said.
"Those concerns always come up as to whether or not they should be in certain areas, but like I say, unless you want to put those facilities away and not build anything anywhere close to them, any residences, I don't know that you can do that."
A city taxi driver said he and his co-workers fill up their cabs at Sunrise Propane, which also provides 24-hour emergency service.
The company's website says it also serves residential, industrial and agriculture clients. The industrial gases it supplies includes nitrogen, propane, helium and argon. Sunrise Propane also provides safety training for propane and dangerous goods certificates.
Propane is stored and transported in a compressed liquid form, vapourizing only when pressure is released.
The gas is an asphyxiant, meaning it cuts off oxygen to the body and can cause suffocation. Exposure to high levels of propane can cause a plethora of health problems, including frostbite if it touches skin.
Richard Hawrelak, a plant design engineer for more than 30 years, said that since a massive propane explosion in Mexico in 1984, which killed more than 500 people, the trend has been for such facilities to be built further from residential areas.
"It's more normal now to have more separation," Hawrelak, who also lectures at the University of Western Ontario, said from his home in the southwestern Ontario city of Sarnia.
He said Canada, in contrast to other countries like the United States and some European nations, lacks firm rules governing the storage of dangerous substances like propane near concentrations of people.
"In the States, they've got a damned good system," said Hawrelak. "(In Canada) it's a toothless, gutless wonder."

One evacuee said the evacuation was like a hollywood movie, people running in boxers or barefeet with fire raining down around them. The evacuee had skin on his back melt.

Wasn't there a Canadian report about some underwater explosion in its northern regions? Set to be investigate by some aircraft? Black smoke, dead whales...
Sabotage is not far fetched. When Russia turns off the energy tap, when Iran disrupts Hormuz and targets with missiles some oil fields in the region... fuel depots will be important for the West. But just saying... who knows.

Why do muslims gang rape in their own area, why do they murder in their own area? Why do they steal in their own area? Why do the religion of "peace" do all these thing?
The answer is in the koran.
Target of Opportunity, run out place a bomb, go back hide in the aparment.
So simple.
So you have three likely explanations, Illuminasty, muslims (who all are owned by the Illuminasty without even realizing it, because both groups are owned by the devil) or a freak accident.
