Pole Shift Questions Please
For some reason, I awoke this morning SEEKING info on the potential pole shift as discussed by many including Cayce.

What seems to be missing from all the reasons why we will likely cycle into one again (whether on 12/21/12 or not) is:

How is it likely to shift? All at one time, or more slowly?
Where would the new poles likely settle?
And, with all the flooding, tsunami activity, and massive destruction that would ensue... are there any relatively safe places to go to PRIOR to such horrific events where you have a better chance for survival?

There are some out there willing to sell this info, as if it was given only to them, but that seems morbid to me.

I release there are a lot of "if's" here. I'm looking for people who have made this a study of theirs. If this is truly a likely event, then it will be global in impact and we ALL should be discussing this. Not pretending it won't happen or wishing it away, but calming discussing the possibility, without harping on the fear energy, to discuss what are the places that in the most likely scenario could provide some survivability?

Also, those who have researched....are you planning on moving to a "safe zone" (or have you already) or will you take your chances with the rest of us?

As a mom I'm just wondering - not panicking, just looking for some educated voices to assist.

Thanks!

Re: Pole Shift Questions Please
Pole shifts take place in one of two ways.

Slow tectonic 'drift' where over millions of years the surface of earth changes placing other points of the continents in the poles.

And Magnetic pole shifts. where the magnetic field 'flips' due to the metallic liquid core.

To give credit were credit IS due.

I think Cayce did see 'the future'. His predictions of what the world will look like reflect (closely) predicted maps of post land based ice melt.

It is highly probable that Cayce missed on the cause. We note that he says nothing - NOTHING about climate change.

As for the speed of the change, relative to history and geologic age the changes we are seeing today are taking place 'very fast'.

There is no way that the earth can physically 'flip' or for that matter physically tilt further or lesser on its axis without an outside gravity source doing it.

For such an event to be even relatively fast (taking thousands or hundreds of years) the resulting damage unleashed as inertial energy is forced to flow in another direction, would result in massive damage to the planet - damage never recorded in all of the life of earth. We are talking the splitting of plates all the way down to the mantel - releasing material which would cook every life form on earth.

For it to take place in days, weeks, months - the energy released would melt the crust of earth. Evaporate all of the water, and would blast away most of the atmosphere.

Lastly we have the moon. The moon is the great stabilizer and perhaps is the reason why earth is the only planet with any life worth measuring on it. The moon not only protects us from a goodly number of asteroid impacts, it also acts like a 'counter balance' to the tendency of a rotating object to precess (tilt on its axis).

Yes the earth's axial tilt is not a constant it does change, over millions of years. Unlike Mars which could see severe changes in its axis over much shorter periods of time. Yet, less than tens of thousands of years for a minor adjustment would result in Mars undergoing severe damage.

Earth without a moon would, over the eons wobble much further on its axis - slowly tilting first one way, then straightening up to tilt the other way. This would lead to freezing and heating of land masses to a degree where no life (as we know it) could survive or keep up with the changes.

The problem is we are dealing with lots of mass in motion. inertia is a huge thing to over come - especially we we speak of things like planets which have a lot of inertial energy bound up in their great mass.

To 'move the earth' to tilt it further or less or to try to stop its spin would release that bound up energy, it could be converted to heat and heat would melt the cooler crust of the earth.

I don't know exactly what will occur, AC4811411, because of what Archangel Michael has said on abundanthope, that there will not be a full pole shift. Rather there will be a Jupiter event in January, and the planet will still be left habitable and we shall be able to rebuild. [link to abundanthope.net]
search 'Jupiter event'

However, to your question:

1) How.

Read Dr Paul LaViolette's Preciction #10 [link to www.etheric.com]
A large solar flare, or combined solar flare with emission from Planet X creating a longitudinal, pulse, or scalar energy, [link to iron-eagles.tripod.com]
impacting earth will cause "storm time radiaion belts" around the earth's equator and if strong enough could shift the poles from the poles to the equator.
There has been a recent similar pole shift on one of Jupiter's moons, Europa Thread: Jupiter changes:Looks like earth is in trouble.

2) Where the poles settle.

From what I've read the concensus seems to be someplace in South America and in it's opposite China.

3) Safe places.

America is supposed to be warm although broken up, and Alaska is supposed to be warm. I guess Canada too. Australia is another place that is mentioned although the coastlines will be innundated. Parts of North Africa for those fleeing from Europe, which according to Cayce will become a series of islands.

However as I said, relying upon Archangel Michael, a Jupiter event/ blast could happen first. So we really don't know whether this pole shift scenario is still valid, or whether something else will occur.

Re: Pole Shift Questions Please
The Hudson Bay and the Gulf of Mexico were previous polar regions. The weight of the ice made a depression in the land. The last most recent pole prior to current was the Hudson Bay. Next was the Gulf of Mexico. This is why there is more ice around canada then the opposing side. Obviously, there is ice all around the polar region but look closer. When the shift occurred from the Hudson Bay area to current, the land in between each pole region was able to stay cold. The other side came from a warmer region. This also explains the great lakes as they are the result of massive ice melting trapped on land.

The next pole will be similar in distance the current pole and Hudson Bay have. Same as the distance between the Hudson Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. As history repeats itself, the Hudson bay will land about the same climate zone as the Gulf of Mexico is. The next north pole will be in Siberia.

About 1/3rd of the world will remain in its original climate zone. 2/3rds of the world will shift into a new climate zone. This explains the mass death of 2/3rds the world. As a region enters a new climate zone, the plant life will die off fast. Killing the rest of the species along the food chain.

No matter how many times you flip the planet, the most area to be altered by shifting climate can not exceed 2/3rds. The only exception would be a shift less then 15 degrees, where most of the regions will remain in their original climate zone.

Think of it this way, the earth is spherical and, no matter how many times it is spun around, there will ALWAYS be 1/3rd in a similar climate zone. Always!

Re: Pole Shift Questions Please
I did a search for Jupiter Event out of morbid curiosity, it rattled on about some spiritual bullshit surrounding the earth as a Seed planets for many many species. What a load of crap.

Truth is that When the poles do flip no one on earth is quite sure what will happen. Certainly there will be no large scale movement of tectonic plates or sudden slip, so no major doom from there. Bird might fly in the wrong direction when attempting to migrate.

When will it happen? who knows..anyones guess but its not going to happen like a light switch, its a process that will take many years to complete. The magnetic poles wander around slowly all the time.

If your looking for safe places to be I suggest you might be overly paranoid and listening to some of the doom mongers on here might not be the best Idea, unless you want to feed your paranoia.
Cheers.

Well, scientist still can not explain what created the Gulf of Mexico or the Hudson Bay. It surely was not an impact, that has been proven. So what was it? Weight of miles of ice. That is the most logical conclusion I can see disregarding the Pole Shift itself.

What about the Great Flood? Was that from a pole shift? Probably from a lot of melted ice from the last pole shift. That ice had escaped years down the road.

Why are there mass extinctions on earth, and not just one but a cycle of mass extinction? Because 2/3rds of earth has died.

Why had humans created a new calendar only 2000 years ago when we were building great stone structures far before then? Pole shift changed the rotation and season.

Why does the Mayan calendar end? Because the pole shift will require us to make a new calendar. There old calendar will be useless and they, the Mayans, new that.

What about the Chinese accounts of the double sun rise? Pole Shift.

Why does Earth cycle through warm and cold ages? Pole shifting. Or the dwarf star warms us slightly when closer and we cool down when it is further away.

Pole Shifts also cause great Earth changes in geography. Is this why fish fossils are found in mountain tops? I believe so.

How did the Egyptians flourish in a desert? They didn't. There lands were very green before the last pole shift. Same as other great civilizations that fell.

And it's always anecdotal: [link to www.talkorigins.org]

They know that there are ice core samples showing us the
climate going back at least half a million years, and from
multiple locations on this planet. The crustal displacement
proponents don't ever want to address them.

 Quoting: DrPostman

"The Vostok ice-core shows no effects of catastrophic geological changes. By this I mean no petroleum, no vermin, no weird Venus gasses, no red snow, no manna in amongst the layers. Also no evidence for rapid rotational changes in the earth, no floods, no major asteroid bombardments. Finally, there is absolutely positively fur-darn-tootin no evidence of the earth ever having occupied any position in the solar system other than that which it holds now. "

Thank you :) Venus is not a moon from Jupiter :)

But I do think Neal Adams' take on the expanding Earth is plausible.

How about the Gulf just forming from Tectonic plate movement?

Great Flood, aside from the fact that most Geologists reject the idea of a Global flood the most likely cause would be an Impact event.

Mass Extinctions. There are many causes, Impactors, Massive Eruptions such as the siberian event. Perhaps even a Magnetic Pole shift event caused one.

Are you saying that we had a pole shift around 2000 years ago and humans changed calenders? The Julian Calendar was introduced by Julius Caesar in 46BC. The Gregorian Calendar was introduced in 1582, what are you trying to say?

Who knows what the mayans wanted from there calendar, and why would a pole shift need a new calendar? Days will be the same length, the time it takes for us to get around the sun will be the same...

Double sun rise? more than likely a supernova.

Dwarf star? oh you mean the non existant Nemesis? rubbish, the earth has cycles because of wobbles in its axis and rotation around the sun, and through the Galaxy.

Mountains grew up from the ground due to constant tectonic shifts, it has nothing to do with poleshifting, Fossils of fish are found on mountains probably because those mountain ranges began life under the sea.

The Egyptians major cities were either on the banks of the Nile or on the coast, thats how they flourished in a desert.
The Minoans were virtually destroyed by Thera Eruption, as for the other ancient civilizations, every race has its time and place.
Cheers.

Fantastick post and you are so right about the Moon. Earth is basicly a giant experiment or science project (or even a gene farm if you will). A very important science project to civilizations far more advanced than our own. That requires a lot of behind the scenes "administration" to prevent any kind of awareness from leaking into the public mind which could corrupt the evolutionary processes being undertaken and studied by these "scientists", thus all the secrecy about UFOs and what not.

What most people refer to as a pole shift, they are really talking about the reversal of the Earth's direction of rotation caused by a galactic "coriolis" effect (which is pure speculation of course). As the Earth moves across the galactic equator, is there a coriolis effect that will reverse the rotation and wipe out all but the seeds of life?

Here's a way to soothe your thoughts. Don't gather opinions; form opinions.

Which is to say, if all you do is run around collecting what this guy said, what this other guy said, all you'll get is confusion and disagreement.

Instead, learn about analytical methods. Learn logic. There are many ideas -- such as the one you mention above about random planets causing a pole shift when they "pass by" that require very little science to test. You can ask, "how often do planets wander near the Earth, and how close do they get?" You can ask, "how big and how close does a planet need to be to change the rotation of another planet?"

State each idea you run into in the form of a hypothesis, and see if you can disprove that hypothesis. It's a way to cut through at least some of the clamor. And at the end of it, you may be dead wrong, but at least you'll have your own opinion, not one borrowed from someone else.
