Re: What is the hardest question in the world?
If an evil, crazy gunman from Islamabad walked into a walmart while you were shopping and told you, " You have two choices. You can shoot and kill this little boy and girl,(he points to two random young kids, about age 6 and 8) or you can have me torture your family (mentally, physically, and otherwise) until they die a slow and painful death. Which one? Pick fast or both will happen!"-----------------Everyone is staring at you. Your family is staring at you in wide eyed horror. Your youngest daughter looks up to you with tears in her eys and pleads "please dad, dont let him hurt me". Your wife is shocked and speechless. The parents of the two kids are gathering up their kids who crying now. The moms look at you. "Please, Please!" they beg.
The gunman starts counting down, "ten, nine, eight ,seven, six, five, four"

What would you pick?
I think this is by far the most hardest question in the world!

I will first say that i'll kill those two kids, take the gun from the man and shoot him only.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1530682

i would say give me the gun and i will shoot the two kids and he'll give me the gun and i'll say stupid dumass and shoot him

For a Fuckin book..Its NOT a FUCKING book! It's a weapon. A weapon aimed right at the heart's and minds of the weak and the desperate. It will give us control of them. If we want to rule we have to have it. People will come from all over, do exactly what I tell them..if the words are from ...the book. (Book of Eli)

Re: What is the hardest question in the world?
Why is the fastest the slowest?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6020618

Speed requires distance to travel.

Now, it takes SOME time for some distance to be traveled, lets say around the Earth three times in a second. Lets say this is the fastest speed. If you measure this distance and lay it out, it will be very long (3 times the distance around Earth). If you move out to a distance and made it thick enough to see, you could see the line travel over a period of a second. If you made it twice as long it would take twice as much time to complete the travel.

Now, the farther and farther you get, the slower it covers a distance (which may look the same size because you are far away). If you move out an infinity distance, it will no longer appear to move.

If it covers a distance instantly, it didn't travel or have speed.

Why is the fastest the slowest? Because of size and magnitude. Not having speed is the 'fastest' and the 'slowest'.

What is life?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1059554

Life is an answer to a question.

It has no inherent meaning like an empty container. It is this nothingness that allows it to hold anything and be anything you will.

Having said that, each life is different and anything.

Re: What is the hardest question in the world?
If you marry someone you dont REALLY love but like a lot (and never thought that love was real anyway...just a fantasy)...and have children with that person.

And 20 years later meet someone you REALLY love.....that the fantasy fulfills. Is one supposed to give up the fantasy....is one meant to kill themselves (not the person just the dream of a true friend/love/lust). If they are an interim person...why dont they know it and concede without being a tosser about it....ie sucicide/stalking/meaness.

If God is real...why does he torment one with someone that is perfect AFTER you committed yourself to someone you were so-so about BECAUSE you never thought true love would ultimately come?
 Quoting: S 662749

God doesn't tell you how to love. The fact that you cannot love freely means that you are limiting it. You practice love as if it is a matter of ownership and that isn't love at all. I understand people have reasons for doing this, but if you weren't all so damn judgmental, for absolutely no reason, and controlling, you would know what love really is. I don't know how many times I have to tell people this.

Humans aren't normally meant to be with one person for life and children aren't supposed to be cared for as long as they are. Your society is screwed up and works against what is natural, and this is your reward.

Sorry if that was harsh.

Re: What is the hardest question in the world?
Alright, I need some good hardest questions ever.
We've all heard the one, "Is the glass half empty, or half full" or "tell me about yourself" or "what is the meaning of life?"
I need some new ones, care to ask a really hard question?
(my answers-if anyone cares-to the above questions,
1. depends on whats in the glass---if its beer, half empty. The bartender always tops ya off.
2. stupid interview question...it's a trick question.
3. to live life to fullest)

so give me some good hard questions..
