Makes sense!
The US is putting missiles and 'shields' in Poland, Russia's neighbour, it only makes sense Russia says their ally is in the same vincinity as the US, so their going to put Missiles and 'shields' in Cuba.

Good cop bad cop. and the roles were just changed.
Bush is on his way out.
It's all just a big fucking show to them. They don't care if a few lives were lost what's a few thousand or hundreds of thousands when they have over 6.5 billion pawns.
Russia gets to play bad cop for a while and keep the shit stirred. It's a game to them and keeps the money flowing, along with a few other things. |

This is so funny. Poland has snookered Bush to defend it as if it's the United States even if it's against US interests (something the US has heretofor refused to do). If this emboldens Polish leaders in their relations with others, to thumb their noses at anyone they please, or even attack if that's in their interests, a counterattack by the US is now guaranteed by treaty.
Germany beware, and Russia beware.
Brother. I hope you Americans can trust Poland's leaders to act in a way that doesnt threaten your national interests... |

What amazes me is how the major news media outlets here in the U.S. just keep on reporting unimportant news, like the monkey loose in an airport, or the fake big foot, etc., etc., all the while the prospect of a very large war lurks right in front of them! Its as if they are in denial about the possibility of what might happen. This goes for the business news networks as well! They're more concerned about making profits from the situations occuring in this nation and the world than they are about the consequences of an all out war in which weapons of mass destruction, of all kinds, could be unleashed that would destroy the consumers and the markets they depend on. poland is a nato member and per article 5 of the nato treaty,

The USA and Poland have a Mutual Defense Pact outside of NATO's collective protection clause -- it seems Poland demanded the wording be stronger. ie No Article 51 of the UN Charter, and not "in concert with others".
The US must respond to Poland's defense needs immediately and unilaterally, as Poland sees fit...
