who screwed op the reverse thruster....had to be ailine machanics with knowledge and opportunity..and could be deliberate sabotage .....landing gear malfuctions; were making news a while back.. |

Why are they dropping water this way... When the crash is THAT way. I mean the camera man turns like 140 degrees its view to focus the crash again. It is a dust devil quite far from the action and the cameraman was more interested in it than in the crash!!! |

For the last time show us a link or another incident like this one. Water from helicopters don't go upward nor do they create a vortex at the same time.A whirlwind when no other wind in blowing in the entire area!

The captain of any commercial airliner makes the decision to 'go' or 'no go'. If he/she doesn't feel comfortable with the safety condition of the aircraft before flight, THEY are the ones that have absolute authority above all else to not fly the a/c. Besides that, they're usually the first ones at the scene of the accident and who in their right mind would want that?
Company dispatchers (or 'chief dispatchers' if you will) have no authority over any captain's decision to fly or not fly an aircraft, especially when it comes to SAFETY.
So if this story is true about the text messages, something is verrrryyyyyy wrong. SOPs are such that once all passengers are seated, the doors close and push-back begins, no one gets off unless there is a medical emergency or obvious mechanical emergency (one example: smoke in the cabin).
If you ever feel the absolute need to get off a plane while still on the ground, open a window exit; that'll get the flight attendants' attention immediately and they will immediately inform the pilots who will stop the plane (they will also get an indicator light of an exit window open on the flight deck). Just try not to get sucked into the engines by going over the leading edge instead of the back and be willing to risk getting run over or death from injury of hitting the pavement.
There have been many documented cases where pilots felt pressured to take off because of their company's demands - even moreso with low-budget airlines. Still, the decision is in their hands. Better to get fired then get dead.
But, as usual, the families will probably never be told the real truth, whatever it may be, as in the case of TWA 800 and many, many others. Very sad. |

Depends on the lawyer they get, and the lawyer the airline company gets. I would suspect there are a lot of high-profile lawyers who would put their caseload on hold to handle this incident--especially if the woman has a verifiable text message of the conversation with her husband. |

Prolly ought to stress that most likely the window egress will not open at altitude with the cabin pressurized. And while on the ground be sure of the configuration of the aircraft--if your exit is over the wings of an aircraft with the engines mounted on pylons beneath the wing, find another exit. If the exit is near the rear and the engines are mounted on pylons near the tail, same deal--find another exit. |

If you want off of a plane all you have to do is say that you put a bomb on it.
They will put you in jail but at least you will be alive. |

A SON, CALLED DONOVAN, OF ONE OF THE VICTIMS OF THE MADRID PLANE CRASH HAS TOLD THE PRESS THE FOLLOWING:
ALLEGEDLY HIS FATHER SENT A TEXT MESSAGE TO HIS WIFE, THIS PERSONS MOTHER , THE VICTIMS WIFE, FROM THE PLANE TELLING HER THAT THE PILOT ALLEGEDLY TOLD THE PASSENGERS HE DIDNT WANT TO TAKE OFF WITH THAT PLANE BUT THAT ALLEDGEDLY HE WAS TOLD TO TAKE OFF. THIS AFTER THE REVISION THAT HE REQUESTED.
but theres more..
HE ALSO TOLD THE PRESS THAT HIS MOTHER THEN SENT A TEXT MESSAGE TO HIS FATHER TELLING HIM TO GET OFF THE PLANE IMMEDIATELY.
THE FATHER REPLIED AFTER SOME MOMENTS THAT HE AND OTHERS WERE TRYING TO GET OFF THE PLANE BUT THAT THEY COULDNT , THEY WERENT ALLOWED TO.
HE ALLEGEDLY HAS THE TEXT MESSAGES FROM HIS DEAD FATHER TO PROVE THIS AND HAS SHOWN THEM TO THE PRESS.
if the above is true, then a good lawyer can make millions, and the survivors millionaires.
