Anonymous Coward User ID: 487016 United Kingdom 09/17/2008 05:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | DNA is made of chemical building blocks called nucleotides. These building blocks are made of three parts: a phosphate group, a sugar group and one of four types of nitrogen bases. To form a strand of DNA, nucleotides are linked into chains, with the phosphate and sugar groups alternating. The four types of nitrogen bases found in nucleotides are: adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G) and cytosine (C). The order, or sequence, of these bases determines what biological instructions are contained in a strand of DNA. For example, the sequence ATCGTT might instruct for blue eyes, while ATCGCT might instruct for brown. Each DNA sequence that contains instructions to make a protein is known as a gene. The size of a gene may vary greatly, ranging from about 1,000 bases to 1 million bases in humans. The complete DNA instruction book, or genome, for a human contains about 3 billion bases and about 20,000 genes on 23 pairs of chromosomes. To understand DNA's double helix from a chemical standpoint, picture the sides of the ladder as strands of alternating sugar and phosphate groups - strands that run in opposite directions. Each "rung" of the ladder is made up of two nitrogen bases, paired together by hydrogen bonds. Because of the highly specific nature of this type of chemical pairing, base A always pairs with base T, and likewise C with G. So, if you know the sequence of the bases on one strand of a DNA double helix, it is a simple matter to figure out the sequence of bases on the other strand. DNA's unique structure enables the molecule to copy itself during cell division. When a cell prepares to divide, the DNA helix splits down the middle and becomes two single strands. These single strands serve as templates for building two new, double-stranded DNA molecules - each a replica of the original DNA molecule. In this process, an A base is added wherever there is a T, a C where there is a G, and so on until all of the bases once again have partners. In addition, when proteins are being made, the double helix unwinds to allow a single strand of DNA to serve as a template. This template strand is then transcribed into mRNA, which is a molecule that conveys vital instructions to the cell's protein-making machinery. There are also 64 anticodons (to save space, I will not list them here). An anticodon is a sequence of three adjacent nucleotides in transfer RNA that binds to a corresponding codon in messenger RNA and designates a specific amino acid during protein synthesis at a ribosome. The four nitrogen bases therefore appear 192 times in the 64 codons and 192 times in the 64 anticodons, i.e., 384 times altogether as 64 sets of two triplets. Now compare this pattern with the I Ching table. [link to fenris.ca] There are 64 pairs (hexagrams) of triplets (trigrams) of yin and yang lines. The SAME 64x3 pattern manifests in the inner form of the Tree of Life (Article 40 at [link to smphillips.8m.com] It appears in the Catalan solid called the disdyakis triacontahedron, proven by Dr Phillips to be the polyhedral version of the Tree of Life. Furthermore, it manifests in the composition of intervals between the notes of the seven musical scales (Articles 31 & 40). It can be shown that the 189 intervals below the octave between the notes of these scales divide into 63 pairs of intervals (tone ratio m) and their inversions (tone ratio 2/m) and 63 intervals that are unpaired, i.e., 63 triplets of intervals. Including the tonic, octave, generic interval of the octave and their falling counterparts, there are 64x3 triplets of rising intervals and 64x3 triplets of falling intervals between the notes in the set of seven musical scales, which constitutes a whole because no more than seven scales can exist, based upon the Pythagorean scale. We see therefore that the mathematical basis of music is IDENTICAL to the codon structure of the DNA molecule. This is the "handwriting of God". Its mathematical syntax and grammar has been worked out during the past five years and applied to superstring theory, music, the human skeleton and now the DNA molecule (to become Article 46, soon to uploaded to Dr Phillips' website). The equivalence of the sacred geometries at the heart of various world religions is demonstrated in Article 40 and in other articles posted at his website. They are ALL different representations of the same universal, cosmic blueprint. EVERYTHING is "made in the Image of God." Uhhh.... huh? Could you say thay that again please? |

Wayyyy too much going on to be random. Hey there Mr. Darwin and company, ever wonder how all those DNA equations got figured out by accident? Thats a lot of math and chemistry. Molecular bioligists can't even read them in a laboratory. Mabye we just lucked out and formed by accident, like betting on a roulette wheel and having our number come up millions of times in a row? -winky- Quoting: DGN |
