the national guardsmen retreated as far back as they could and the protesters pursued and surrounded them. Not one person pushing against the guardsmen were injured. They fired into the air as warning shots and killed people who were not pushing on them.

Kent State University is a hotbed for witchcraft (I personally met an English prof who recruited her students to be in her coven) they taught this crap in a black room at the main campus, there are strange deaths in Kent/Ravenna because of these pukes, and being a university in the US,m they are commie socialists. i was born and raised in that area and although i was not there on that horrible day, the pics that i saw of the shooting showed the students nowhere near the guardsman and at no time were there ever any warning shots fired.

two of the students killed were not even in the demonstration.

Go further back and you will find that America has massacred protesters bigger and better than Kent State, even attacking US veterans.
There are many instances of violence against both veterans protesting for promised pay and also violence against labor unions.

Its organizers called it the Bonus Expeditionary Force to echo the name of World War I's American Expeditionary Force, while the media called it the Bonus March. It was led by Walter W. Waters, a former Army sergeant.

Many of the war veterans had been out of work since the beginning of the Great Depression. The World War Adjusted Compensation Act of 1924 had awarded them bonuses in the form of certificates they could not redeem until 1945. Each service certificate, issued to a qualified veteran soldier, bore a face value equal to the soldier's promised payment plus compound interest. The principal demand of the Bonus Army was the immediate cash payment of their certificates.

One of MacArthur's most controversial acts came in 1932, when the "Bonus Army" of veterans converged on Washington. He sent tents and camp equipment to the demonstrators, along with mobile kitchens, until an outburst in Congress caused the kitchens to be withdrawn. MacArthur was concerned that the demonstration had been taken over by communists and pacifists but the General Staff's intelligence division reported that only three of the march's twenty-six key leaders were communists. MacArthur went over contingency plans for civil disorder in the capital. Mechanized equipment was brought to Fort Myer, where anti-riot training was conducted.[79] On 28 July 1932, a clash between the District police and demonstrators resulted in two men being shot. President Hoover ordered MacArthur to "surround the affected area and clear it without delay."[80] MacArthur brought up troops and tanks and, against the advice of Major Dwight D. Eisenhower, decided to accompany the troops, although he was not in change of the operation. The troops advanced with bayonets and sabers drawn under a shower of bricks and rocks, but no shots were fired. In less than four hours, they cleared the Bonus Army's campground using tear gas. The tear gas canisters started a number of fires, and caused the only death during the riots. While not as violent as other anti-riot operations, it was nevertheless a public relations disaster.

Yes that's the only way for this to turn into something. They need some victims to really get people fired up and pissed off. If that would happen you would see some real demonstration. Until that happens I will continue to basically ignore this.

Ummmm. No. I have watched much footage of this incident and have done much reading and have visited the site. There is an
audio recording that supports some eyewitness accounts of an order to fire. There is talk of reopening the case with this evidence. The protesters were not surrounding the guardmens when they fired, and at least 2 of the students killed were not even engaging in the protest---they were on their way to class. They did not deserve to die. The guardsmen were not surrounded, and DID NOT fire warning shots in the air-they turned on command, and fired.

I went to Kent State myself and have had a chance to talk to some people who were there. I was told many of the protesters were not even students at the university. The guard members were also known to have been very tired having just performed other duties elsewhere. I'm sure this did not help decision making.

I can only hope that it does not happen. Watching the videos of how much police are allowed to abuse people it looks pretty likely though. Opening peoples eyes and spraying them as they don't even resist. Kicking the crap out of people for no reason. Beating them with sticks. They hide behind their costumes and masks looking less than human. If the protesters were smart, they would all be wearing masks. They are watched for life for being part of the protest.
More than likely it will be undercover cops on the streets smashing things up and raising hell. It gives them the excuse they need to start shooting.
