I'm currently reading "Third World America" by Arianna Huffington.
She is a naturilaised American who has been living there for over 20 years and dearly loves America.
In her book she describes the diliberate sabotage of laws and legislation that was designed to protect individuals from preditory lending, from high interest rates, from exploitation by bans and corporations.
She writes how the totally failed economics of the free market are still promoted by the mass media, regardless of all the evidence of there failure.
She examines Obama's presidency as compared to his rhetoric.
Key interestings points include:
Pg 7. Recession Wire.com

Pg 14. The account of Faye Harris who contracted cancer and as soon as her time off guaranteed by the Family and Medical Leave Act expired, she was sacked and then lost her medical insurance.
Pg 18. Stats on decreasing wages, such as in 2007 the top 10% pocketed 50% of all money earned in the US.
&
Almost 100 million US citizens earn less than their parents did.
Pg 27. Economist Jeff madrick believes in the absence of manufacturing the only way to compete with the third world, is to become the third world.
Pg 55. The Real Misery Index - google it.
Pg 56. US companies avoid company tax by using P.O. Boxes in Caymen etc WHILST getting government contracts. Worse offender Halliburton. Also many of the same companies avoid their social responsibilities such as unemployment benefits.
Pg 58. HEDGE FUND MANAGERS (those partly responsible for crashing the economy) pay ONLY 15% TAX AS IT IS CLASSED AS CARRIED INTEREST. The top 25 of these scum hedge fund managers earned A BILLION DOLLARS EACH. Top earners earnt $4 Billion.
So as you can see, it's a really good book in an old fashioned way. It is written by a woman so it has that feminine gentleness and generosity.
So far she hasn't linked any of this deliberatley destructive behaviour to the illuminati, BUT you can see the hand of the illuminati very clearly behined what she writes.
