I have to say ...
In 2005, in the months leading up to Katrina, we had high temps of 98 or thereabouts for weeks and months ... we had a lot of that same type of weather this year.
Also, I have noticed for weeks now, they are laying chemtrails like crazy in central Texas ... I don't know what type of weather mod they are doing or planning, but they always spray heavily before heavy weather. It's been crazy over here, and really bad today, making the weather even more oppressive than it normally is if chemtrails are not present.
Not sure what they've got up their sleeves, but weather modification is real, and they can steer these hurricanes anywhere they want to. |

You are absolutely right. Did you ever see the movie "When The Levees Broke"? They showed how bush and others in the current admin were shown the track of the storm and the projections in plenty of time to get more people out of NOLA. It was right there in the movie.
Those people were genocided. People that tried to help were turned away. Bush played air guitar. Rice was shoe shopping. And people were suffering horribly and dying when they could have been helped. |

Yes, that's the way it has felt in Austin, too, although probably not as bad as where you are. I came out of the store tonight after 10:00 p.m. and could really feel the oppressiveness of the weather with no breeze whatsoever.
I hope you will be safe. I remember during Rita how backed up the roads were, with so many people evacing. Also, the stores in Austin were all out of bread and water. People panicked at first, since the projections for Rita were for a Cat 5 and it was projected that the cane would be at least at a cat 1 by the time it hit Austin. I was so glad that we didn't get hit at that time, even 200 miles inland. |

What I don;t like about this article is that it suggests that this storm is only a problem as soon as it reaches US soil. The fact that it raged over Haiti and other countries and already took more then 68 lives seems worthless to Americans. As long as no American dies it is not interesting obviously.
I really detest that! A human life is at least as much worth if it is NOT an American life!
Let's just hope that all people who may be effected by this storm can stay safe and survive, especially the poor ones who have no means to protect themselves! |

9100, I was in Austin for a couple of years. Beautiful ! One of my favorite places. It never occurred to me that hurricane force winds got inland that far, but if one moves fast enough it easily could.
