Report abusive post | Police called for offensive Christian music!
| Quote |
I was playing "For God so loved the world" by Jaci Velasquez and right at the part when she quotes John 3:16 about everlasting life, the cops show up and tell me that it is unlawful for me to express love and peace. While trying to hold back a smile within his duties he conveyed that I don't have the right to play music that may be offensive to my neighbor. Death and destruction is acceptable but goodness and love are an obvious attack on American society. |

Your neighbor could hear it. That's why the cops showed up. Not because it was christian. Get over your victim mentality. |

Personally, I would've called down the wrath of God on you, since so-called Christian Contemporary Music is an abomination. |

 | | Re: Police called for offensive Christian music! | Quote | A victim I am not. I just think it's awfully hypocritical for society to accept filthy death rap and take offense to a positive uplifting message. It proves to me that the majority of the human race are so deep in guilt that they have to run with the evil pack like a bunch of jackals. I challenge any one of you to stand up and say something real from your heart, not something you think will gain you acceptence. Why would you want to be accepted by these idiot earthlings, anyway? |

have you ever called the police for local sound ordinance violation of your neighbors?
try it
you will get the same response...
unless the local cops are all chollo's as well...
but, sound violation is sound violation and disturbing the peace...
you should try it
and if you dont get the results you desire,
then talk to a supervisor |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 478239 8/26/2008 1:29 PM | | Re: Police called for offensive Christian music! | Quote | It's all offensive if you blast it past a certain decibel level.. stop with the drama.
If you keep pissing your neighbors off by blasting your music don't be claiming they hate god when they beat you up for it.
Seriously it's you they don't like.. |

Did the cops actually say "it's unlawful for you to express love and peace"?
Or did you embelish your story with that phrase?
I think the cops probably told you your music was too loud and to turn it down --- the same as they would do to anyone who was playing any type of music so loud it was disturbing the neighbor. |

 | | Re: Police called for offensive Christian music! | Quote | He did say that it was unlawful for me to express love and peace, however, remember the smile? He was being sarcastic and he found it rediculous that the drug dealers called the cops. He was cool, said he was doing his job and mentioned that he had never been called out for a moderate level of Christian music. In fact he left right away knowing that the call was unwarranted. So, all of you know it all's? How do you know how loud my music was? You don't! It was not loud. I was reported for an entirely different reason. I refused to buy their evil satanic poisonous cocaine! |
