We're having a lot of rain here today in NC, I've had over 6 inches in my yard.

I heard that schools were holding the buses until the storm passed, but they just announced that parents wouldn't be allowed to pick up their children until the storm passes. I understand holding the buses, that makes sense, but not allowing parents to pick up their kids in a storm? Damn.

I dont think they actually have the authority to do that. As long as the police havent closed the roads they cant say you cant have your child if you come and pick them up. Although I live in Canada and I know how close in contact the schools in the states are with child services.

this was done in Hutchinson KS also when a tornado was coming through


Some parents arrived at the school to pick up their kids and were denied access-

They left-some of them ended up with DEAD KIDS ONCE THE TORNADO HIT THE SCHOOL



This is why homeschooling is best and should be protected even by people who do not have kids

In Calif they are trying to restrict homeschoolers-and they are constantly under attack via the govtCorporation

Although the county below us are still in lock down, it's a more rural area.
