How to Tavel 238,866 miles to the Moon without refueling?

The solid booster rockets propel the lunar module beyond the gravitational field of earth. Therefore no friction and only momentum rule the motion of the craft towards the moon.

Space is a vacuum...no friction means you don't slow down.

You need fuel to break out of earths gravity. Once in space your forward motion goes on with out thrust.

Thats lets see a total of 401,732 miles with out fuel

you get kicked in the backside at 10mph in space you will go 10mph till you hit whatever.

Inertial movement. Because there is no forces of drag on a moving object, it's momentum remains the same and it never slows down until something is in it's path. So you fire the thrusters to get it moving... a little fuel, then you fire them again to slow down... a little bit more fuel (of course you would also need to manuver the ship to).

Let's try this:

On ground, a car or any other moving object is slowed down by friction between the object and the air and/or the ground.
In space, you don't have an atmosphere, so there are no particles that can slow down movement (and no ground too dooh). The only friction that will be encountered will be from micro-asteroids that hit the ship on it's way.

Also, don't forget that the acceleration used for that kind of travel is not only from chemical engines, but also from a 'slingshot' movement. The ship goes around the Earth and uses the momentum to be thrown into space!

Even a small push that barely would move an object in the Earth's atmosphere, will move an object in space indefinitely, until it encounters an obstacle.

Gravity is in Space and Gravity is the problem here. There is no such thing as Zer gravity in space.

The computers on the ground control the path or non path of the satellite. Some are held in geosynchronous orbit, which means they are traveling as fast as the earth is spinning. Some travel in an orthongonal path to the direction of the earth's rotation, you can see them trace a north-south path in the night sky. Eventually the slight gravitational pull and little friction in a satellites orbit does bring it back to earth.
