The markets are pretty numb by now from all the extra news. Oil is between 110-120 and everybody in the biz is probably quite happy with that. The pipeline there is only about 100,000 barrels a day. Considering we use 23 million a day thats a drop in the bucket. |

I was under the impression that world events directly influence the Stock Market ect … I now guess there is another scripted agenda for these things. |

Most of the real (human) traders don't go back to trading until September. Just computers trading back and forth right now, which they don't evidently panic etc. |

Its called VACATION. Most brokerages during the summer are pretty dead. They usually say "sell in June come back in Sept". This year is a little different since the housing bubble but this last weekend is usually the deadest on Wall St. September is also known as one of the most down months in the Dow through history. So while man is away computer algorithims figure out how to make a few quick bucks. |
