And from that chaos, a new way would emerge. And its going to be better than the old. Put TPTB are doing a bang-up job of eliminating whatever power they still have. More and more people are waking up. It's funny what things come up in random conversation with people you talk to lately.

I've said this for awhile, even before the Continuuity of Government E.O. (revised) passed in 2007. Not sure about it, but it sure seems like it's heading in that direction. |

He may write in caps, but he's correct. Something is gonna happen and Bush will be your pres for a while longer than expected. He isn't the only one who has said this : it's been predicted by people far smarter than us. something's gonna go down that will shake America, and Bush will stay on. It's written in the book of Daniel: "a time, times and a half" referring to the time of the war of Gog and Mogog which is NOW folks.

There is nothing wrong with the electoral college. The problem is you are too stupid to understand the genius behind it. If they decided things by popular vote then the candidates only have to win a few big cities to get power. Then they would tax the rural areas into oblivion and send all the money to New York. No candidate would waste time in most states because they do not have enough voters to waste time there.
If you want to fix the system then get rid of the hacked electronic voting machines. Then get rid of illegals who vote. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 490481

The USA's founding fathers strongly condemned democracy, which is why they established a republic instead.
Democracy is a very bad form of government, because it leaves unpopular minorities helpless against the tyranny of the majority. That's why they say that democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner.
Democracy is a horrible and tyrannical form of government for those who are not lucky enough to be in the same camp as the wolves. So, please do not say that the USA is a democracy, because it is not and was never intended to be. |

I been saying that Bush will be our last president for years now. No one in my neck of the woods has listened and no one seems to care about my point of view. They all keep at it as if everything is business as usual, like we really have the power to vote people into and out of power. George said "we have to stay the course", and he said, "bring it on". He will stay because he cannot back down. Putin has a black belt in karate, and Bush has a belt of whiskey probably black velvet in a glass.
Funny thing I noticed a while back, Putin was seen driving a tank and his people see him as a great man of the military, Kucinich (sp?) was seen about the time of the last election poking his head out of a tank and was seen as best man to NOT vote for. Sorry I don't have the links to these photos, but somewhere I have the newspapers with the pictures.
The solution to most problems is generally close at hand. |
