You might have a hormonal imbalance and your body NEEDS the Fennel, that's why you are craving them ! Fennel seeds are a natural source of Estrogen, it helps calm down males who are over-testosteroned, and for women who wish to naturally augment breast size, Fennel will assist in this too ! It's also good for digestion and relieves intestinal gas. Of all things to be "addicted" to, Fennel's not such a bad choice !! Good luck !  You're 100% correct about the hormonal imbalance. Trouble is, since I have over-production of estrogen, the fennel is giving me grief by compounding the problem. I'm praying that the lemon water is eliminating whatever is inside of me that demands fennel. Nasty withdrawal symptoms too. But I'll survive. Thank you for caring
