I didn't quite understand the process you wrote about.
What exactly happens or is discovered about Obama that would disqualify him?
Who is in charge of the certification or disqualification?
Are there any other reasons Hilary would suddenly want to nominate by acclimation? Maybe she was bored and wanted to go home early???

I think the gist of it is that Obama was nominated by acclamation in an unlawful manner (against the Roberts Rules of Order).
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. |

Most of you are a bunch of idiots.
We get this far toward the winning post, and suddenly, someone pulls out a Monopoly card to say 'hey, Obama is disqualified!'.
Like 'what the hey?' The Dem's are not that dumb to not to have done their homework beforehand.
If some sort of disqualification process wasn't noticed before, then what the hell is Obama doing as Illinois' Governor?
Didn't anybody do a employee check before he got the job?

Hillary won't be the next President. She has not yet outsmarted Carl Rove.
It was Rove who picked Palin, wasn't it? That does a couple things, first gets a toe-hold (and an excellent speaker) in support of drilling Alaska, which the Bush Administration has, so far, been unable to achieve. Secondly, the selection puts sparkle and unrealistic performance ability on the RNC candidates for Prez and Veep.
Hillary and Pelosi "flip the convention", next week get Obama disqualified and then a ruckus starts.
Ruckus over the two unqualified Rep candidates, McCain and Palin and Ruckus over who is the "real" Democratic candidate.
Russia has the screws on Cheney (US) and the Bush Admin, with the approval of the US public, will cancel the election to choose a new Pres and Veep, and he and Cheney will continue to rule the roost. |

First of all, Obama is a U.S. Senator dipshit. Second, google Philip Berg for your apparent ignorance on the eligibility issue of Obama. He is not a natural born U.S. citizen. This thread is very, very intriguing and you are just a fool. Something very unusual happened last week at the convention and this poster has given us all something to pay attention to.

The idea is that Pelosi and Hillary conspired to break Robert's Rules of order while nominating Obama so that his nomination would not be legal, even while it looked like they were uniting behind him.
That way, when the presently running (but separate) court case judges that he is not legally a US citizen and so can't run for prez, Hillary can become the nominee without any hindrance.
And since she had appeared to be obviously so sincerely united with the Party's nomination of Obama, the party won't split but will get behind her run for the presidency.

I'm not going to say it outright, but maybe they did it this way just incase he can't run for President for several reasons. Then they wouldn't have to go through the whole process again at the last minute. It may not be anything underhanded and instead just a contingency plan in case he get's disqualified or anything else that may keep him from running. |

Apparently a lawsuit was filed stating that Obama cannot run for president because he is not a naturalized US citizen according to the laws on the books at the time of his birth. Only one of his parents was an American (his mother), she was 18 when she gave birth and she apparently did not give birth on US soil. There are other questions about an adoption, etc. I don't know all the details, but this has been on GLP a week or so ago. |

The only problem with this theory is that...let's say it does come out that Obama is not eligible to run -- will it look very good that Hillary/Pelosi manipulated the vote at the convention? I think not. |

the law states that if one parent is an american then he is a citizen no matter where the mom dropped him, and the only way he can loose that statis is by renouncing his citizenship. He would have dual citizenship if he was birthed in a foreign country.... so thats the law, and so the lawsuit is not a treat. Just more to confuse the ignorant public.... what a show....
