BREAKING: Biden says Israel should accept 'nuclear' Iran

[link to www.presstv.ir]

The US Democratic vice-presidential candidate Joe Biden has advised senior Israeli officials to come to terms with a 'nuclear' Iran.

In a clandestine meeting with unnamed Israeli officials, which was partially covered by the US Jewish Army Radio, Barack Obama's vice-presidential nominee said, "Israel will have to reconcile itself with the nuclearization of Iran."

According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Biden, a six-time Delaware Senator and chairperson of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told the "amazed" officials, "It's doubtful if the economic sanctions will be effective, and I am against opening an additional military and diplomatic front."

Biden has been a Senator for Delaware since 1973, and is running mate to Barack Obama in the race for the presidency of the United States.

The pro-Israeli Senator also said that Israel is America's biggest ally in the Middle East and its strategic alliance has allowed the US to deploy fewer troops and warships in the region.

Iran says its nuclear program is only for civilian purposes but the Israeli regime and the US accuse the country of seeking nuclear weapons.

Joe Biden’s spokesman vehemently denied a report in an Israeli newspaper Monday that said the Delaware senator was quoted saying Israel would have to “reconcile” itself with a nuclear Iran.

The report appeared in Haaretz, quoting an un-sourced report from Israel’s Army Radio that said Barack Obama’s running mate made the remarks behind closed doors with unnamed senior Israeli officials.

“This is a lie peddled by partisan opponents of Senators Obama and Biden and we will not tolerate anyone questioning Senator Biden’s 35-year record of standing up for the security of Israel,” Biden spokesman David Wade said, stressing Biden’s view that a nuclear Iran would pose a “grave threat to Israel and the United States.”

Israeli officials also said the original story appeared “dubious.”

“We have no idea if someone is misinterpreting a statement or if Biden really could have said this because it sounds incoherent,” one Israeli foreign ministry source told FOX News. “It’s a bit odd that Biden would say something like this. If someone had to reconcile itself with a nuclear Iran it would be the U.S. It sounds not like him.”

Biden is the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and considered a strong Israel ally.

Haaretz reported that he told Israeli officials that their country “will have to reconcile itself with the nuclearization of Iran.”

He also reportedly said, “It’s doubtful if the economic sanctions will be effective, and I am against opening an additional military and diplomatic front.”

Is that Obama's position? Does he have a position? Will he be angry that a position has been de facto taken for him?

I didn't like the pick Biden once I learned he was pro Israel I said to myself the stage is set now for a war with Iran. Listening to Obama speech at the Democratic Convention last week toward the end he mentioned Georgia he would stand with, that really worried me. If Obama gets ill or killed if elected we end up with Biden for President and you know his beliefs. Of course McCain is no better.

The Pope wears a Jewish skull cap, that should give you the answer. Jordan Maxwell is great on revealing what your Church doesn't want you to know. The pagan connections in other words.

If the subject comes up for a vote, he'll probably just vote "present" like he's always done before.

I think this was supposed to stay private, not for media consumption... I've seen alot of damage control calling it lies... but I think the US will try to re-establish relations with Iran to get the pipeline through.

The US keeps flinching in the face of Russia for some reason.
