she believes that if an owl is bad luck, and if it lands on your roof of your home, someone in that house will die shortly

a few years back, I was in the Kruger national Park in south africa with my family in a chalet ... was having a BBQ in the evening ... a baby owl fell out of a tree and landed at my feet ...

next day, whilst driving, a large deer bolted accross the road and I smacked it with my car ... landed on the bonnet, smashed the windscreen and nearly came through the car (2 inches lower, and me and my wife would have been seriously hurt)

coincedence?
