Not always. That's an arbitary reason for rekjecting this one as genuine. You set up your own definition and reject those that don't fit it. Sorry. That's unscientific.

the only one i've seen this year that is not man made is the 2012 alignment from a few months ago.

Nonsense! I have visited a dozen of them and have found all the signatures of genuine crop circles. Look. You cannot always tell whether one is genuine or not by just looking at photos. It does not work that way. You have to go down on hands and knees inside them and examine their stalks. The real ones have swollen nodes where the stalks are bent over. False ones have crushed and split stalks. There are other signatures as well.

there are many things that speprate the genuine circles from the fakes, swollen nodes, the lay of the crop, spikes in background electro-magnetic and radiation signatures. theres no way to really tell just from photos, but the lay of the crop with this formation isnt consitent with the real deal imho. without proper analysis theres no way to tell, but personally i'm skeptical.

so many get fooled cause they want every single circle to be genuine, and some are most definatley not of human origin, but dont let the hoaxers have the last laugh.
