Agreed, if he endorse McCain, I will no longer trust him. Throwing his support behind Barr is another thing.
HOWEVER, still don't understand why he didn't choose to run as a third-party candidate early on. He knows like we all know that the Republican party will not return to values which truly support the sovereignty of the U.S.
I am beginning to not trust him but I hope I am proven wrong. |

I think he is going to announce his retirement from politics. I believe hes done all he could and hes all worn out. Like the other poster said his wife has been ill and I think hes just had enough. |

If Ron Paul didn't run third party, what would his options be for this election?
Sometimes I hate surprises...
It's too late to run for any 3rd party.
No options left but to endorse somebody (McCain, Obama, Barr, or Baldwin), or have your write-ins trashed. Quoting: watchdog
Which brings up a question I am too lazy to research, having totally burned out my brains watching all of the DNC, the RNC, and Paul's Rally.... Do the Greens have ballot access and if so in how many states, Nader has ballot access in I think 32 States (see burn out clause above), Does Barr have ballot access if so in how many states? ditto for Baldwin. |

I was done with RP the moment after six months of study into the Austrian School of Economics when I realized it was but a slightly modified form of the same Imperial Economics the British Empire practices.

It has to be he's running as an Independent. But can he get on all the ballots. That the real question.
I wouldn't bet on it.
1. Well past the deadline to get on the ballot in many states.
2. Not sure how many, but there are a lot of states that won't allow him on the ballot because he ran in the primary and lost.
Since it appears that Baldwin and Barr will both be there with him, my first guess is it has something to do with them.
My second guess is a McCain-Palin endorsement, you did hear JM saying the party is going to get back to it's roots etc etc....didn't you?....that had Ron Paul's name all over it.... Quoting: SHR

Something else, lemme see..... Something to do with the Federal Reserve, or the Treasury.
I think the US corporation might be collasped by Monday, It might mean a return to a Constitutional Government.
Maybe McCain has to forfit the GOP ticket because he was not born in one of the 50 states, and Ron Paul is Up now.
Or McCain has to forfit because of illegal activities during the GOP convention.
Just some wishful thoughts. |
