What will life be like during the 1,000 year reign of Christ?

Satan is bound for a thousand years. The souls of the martyrs reign with Christ in the first resurrection. The last attempts of Satan against the church. The last judgment.

Sometimes I will say in a post or if the subject comes up,
God's New time...the 7th Day. I'll say "millennial reign."
And sometimes I say the "Eucharistic reign of Our Lords Jesus Christ."

When I say the first, "millennial reign", I don't really mean 1000 years, I probably shouldn't use that term any longer! A lot of people understand what you are talking about when you say the "millennial reign." The Catholic Church has always taught one is not to take it or the words in Scripture about 1000 years literally. We don't know, God knows...like He says in the message, only
He knows now long the New period of time will last.

Second and more important, God is pointing out besides we can't take it literally 1000 years, Jesus is not coming soon... meaning...Jesus is not returning soon to reign on the earth in person. The Second Coming is the Second one, the Final Judgment. In the Era of Peace,
Jesus is coming to spiritually reign. Everyone will believe, not like now, all will believe in Our
Lord's presence in the Holy Eucharist.

God was speaking in the message of the amount of time and how Jesus would come again in using the word "millenial." There is a term for Jesus coming again as believed by those who think He is coming to reign on the earth, physically during the New time. They believe even though it's not Scriptural. This false belief is called Millenarianism.

Personally, I'm gonna be chilling with my Grandpa and fishing.

Too bad that "thou shall not kill" was not always taken literally either.
