Hell, I found this place researching Annunaki, UFO's, blood types, and other crazy shit.
So, who has seen a UFO, or knows someone who has?
I'll start..
South Texas...2 Farmers...Open country down there, so several miles can be viewed from just about anywhere.
1980's..
The craft hovered low to the ground, and a narrow beam was noticed from the craft to the ground, intermittently.
Apparently it lingered for some time.
Sidenote: there is a lot of uranium in South Texas.
Upon investigation of the area the craft traveled, small diameter but deep penetrations in the ground were observed.
The same area is know for cattle mutilations too. Why is anything anywhere ? |

 | | Re: Lets get back to "who has seen a UFO." | Quote | a few....all but one i was able to chalk up to known phenomena...one remains "mysterious" in that i couldnt fit it into any known aircraft type that ive seen before or since....was it "et" in origin? who knows....might have been an elaborate hoax, or i may have misinterperated what i saw....early 70s, central park, nyc...i was about 13 at the time....walking my dog after dark, in an area known as "the great circle" (across the pond from the "belvedere castle").....it appeared about the same size and basic shape as a typical american van, had 8 pipes that came vertically out of the sides near the bottom, which then bent perpendicularly toward the rear.... it appeared to be flying about 80 ft off the ground(based on comparison to the height of a 10 story building i was familiar with), it made no sound, travelled extremely slowly for an aircraft(roughly 25 mph, based on comparison to traffic speeds), and was flying in what i can best describe as a "grid search pattern".....it made a few passes, and flew off at the same speed as i had previously stated....maybe 3 to 5 minutes total observation..... i wasnt panicked, or "freaked out" by the craft, just kind of "holy shit"-ted by it.... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 497473 9/6/2008 4:38 PM | | Re: Lets get back to "who has seen a UFO." | Quote | The unfortunate thing for me is that I've seen at least three UFO's in places you'd never expect:
The San Fernando Valley of California, which is in the suburbs of L.A.
Just last week, I was in the backyard and called my dad to look at a spherical/triangular black craft ascending in the sky. I say spherical and triangular because the craft seemed to be bulbous on the wings and the nose.
We knew it wasn't anything inanimate because in travled on a straight vector and was therefore not being carried on the wind. In addition, once it got beyond my house, it began to curve sharply out west until it disappeared behind the treeline.
Last summer, however, my brother and I also saw from our backyard two hovering spheres on two different occasions. The first occassion, the sphere was white, and the second, it was black. These crafts traveled an enormous distance in a very short time.
Now - I didn't start believing in UFO's until the beginning of this year after seeing some of the footage presented on this site. I most likely would have thought nothing of the above instanced had I not seen it, but I am now glad to have witnessed an intelligence - man-made or not - taking to the skies before my very eyes. |

 | | Re: Lets get back to "who has seen a UFO." | Quote | This personal account that I have happened in 1986.
I told my dad about it...then I didn't think much about it.
But I didn't really understand what happened, how cool it was, or how 'strange it was' until a couple of years ago.
I remember it like it happened yesterday..
And only now do I realize how rare of event it was, becuase I was under the damn thing.
So, many sightings describe all these shapes, cigar being common.
Well, from miles aways, and viewed from the side, sure, oval, cigar, whatever...Your seeing a cross section.
Mine would look like a cigar had it been several miles away.
Being under it, and following it in my car for about 5 minutes, the shape was as obvious as balls on a tall dog.
X. Cross shaped.
No fancy lights...Not spinning, dead silent. It was big, mabye 100ft x 100 ft.
Overcast late fall, grey day. Cold, windless..
I turned off the engine, looked at it.. Cranked up and followed (it wasn't traveling fast).
After a few minutes, and it traveling North, it booked...
Gone....
Ok, now I feel weird. Why is anything anywhere ? |

MJ-13 User ID: 498366 9/6/2008 4:55 PM | | Re: Lets get back to "who has seen a UFO." | Quote | I witnessed three flashes of light in the sky. No it was not a comet, meteor, plane, helecopter or lightning. It was a cloudless, star filled night sky without any other explanation of light source. My conclusion was that it was artificial and not natural. The intensity was so large that it literally turned night into day. There was a "controlled" nature about the light in that there were 2-3 second intervals between each of the 3 flashes (as if someone were throwing a celestial wall switch). |

 | | Re: Lets get back to "who has seen a UFO." | Quote | In Newfoundland, Canada, I have seen countless "weird" things in the night sky.
The most recurring are the "stars" that are extremely high up (this is relatively far north mind you) and are flying across the sky at a rate no man made craft could travel, I don't care what anyone says. They shoot across the sky, and keep going until you can't see them any more. And they are not shooting stars.
Also there, once at night, I was star gazing and saw this HUGE flash of light in the sky... it was honestly like a camera flash. I can think of no reasonable explanation for that one, at all. A few other people I was with saw it too, and they were completely stumped.
I've never seen an actual stereotypical UFO flying saucer kinda thing, but I know people who have. |

being that far north, wonder if the flash had anything to do the energies associated with the aurora, and something coming in contact with its energy fields.
cool, and thanks for the story. Why is anything anywhere ? |

i will share one experience
i was about 15 i was waiting for my friend laying in the grass looking up at the sky at first i noticed one little light moving in a very fluid motion across the sky so i just kinda started watching it
then maybe about 3 seconds later i noticed another one and they started to play then another few seconds i noticed another one i watched the 3 of them dance around and play for like 5-10 seconds, i started feeling like they knew i was watching them like i was insync with them or intuned
my friend returned im not sure of the time span but they were still up there and i was still watching them, i didnt wanna say anything because i thought if i did they would disapear, my friend was blabbling on about his girlfriend eventually i told or pointed upward
almost immediatly of him looking at them they started acting strange, their movements were different they started getting sloppy and breaking up in their dance it wasnt long before they seperated and went different ways across the sky |

No idea, man...
I just know it was highly odd and we were all freaked out thinking aliens were taking pics of us.

I know one thing, I've never seen anything even remotely like that in Kentucky, including the high flying star thing. |

 | | Re: Lets get back to "who has seen a UFO." | Quote | I saw no visible craft, but while I was in the hills next to my town at night, I saw a bright light shine over the side of a hill, but the shadows were right under the trees, the light came from overhead. It lasted no more than 5-10 minutes and then disappeared.
I wanted to climb up to the lit area and look up to where the light came from, but was too chicken. This was back in the 70s. “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” ~Romans 12:21
