The USA plans the creation of the bases of US Navy on a permanent basis on Georgia coasts. Now there are intensive negotiations between the Governments of the USA, Georgia and Turkey regarding the future arrangement of warships to Poti and Batumi.

According to Georgian sources, bases will be established in the form of forces of the quick response. One of the tasks of these bases will be providing safety of the energy corridors, which pass through the territory of Georgia.
