First off, it's Zogby Interactive, not International. Second, we're right after the convention. As PAC is so eager to point out, Dukakis was up 15 points after his convention, and look how that turned out. Let's see where we are in a couple of weeks before getting excited.

That's true. I'm on PAC's side, I want them to win - but it's sooooooo close. I'm tracking state by state electoral vote projections based on the latest polls in each individual state, also tracking the popular vote. It is so incredibly close and goes back and forth.
What's amazing to me is that - even with the EXTREME media bias, and the totally disproportionate coverage of Obama over McCain, the McCain/Palin ticket is doing remarkably well.

Polls are controlled just like the news, McCain is as popular as Bush, at around 20%.

I tracked the polls in the last election the same way - state by state, electoral votes based on state popular opinion - these polls, (state by state, not the overall national polls) were ON THE MONEY (within 2%).

FOX News is reporting that the polls coming out mid-week will show McCain / Palin have a lead outside the margin of error -- the first time at any point in this election.

Biden/Palin - a big field of landmaine for the demos, youtube clips show that Palin can perform. The dmeos have screwed themselves (and continue to) by lowering the expectations for Palin. and poor old Joe can really look like a jerk .... I say - big possible upside for McCain/Palin
3. Palin will spend 90% of her time in the midwest, if the demos don't come up with a counter - McCain will win at least as big as Bush in 2004 in the electorial college
