gsbltd User ID: 498936 United States 09/07/2008 12:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Last spring I bought vet-grade Amoxicillin and Tetracycline online [BTW: cheaper than even Wal-Mart's $4 prescriptions!] and they work exactly the same as those from the pharmacy down the street. I even went online and researched them... every medical capsule has a unique color combination and an I.D.# & lot code printed on the side for quality control... I easily confirmed that this "fish-mox" was IDENTICAL to what doctors prescribe. The company where I purchased it [calvetsupply.com] also carries Penicillin, Ampicillin and Neomycin, they also carry an injectible B-complex that has the highest dosage of B-12 available without a script [1,000mcg per ml] it sells for only $6.95 per 100ml. Your B-12 bottle will also have similar control numbers printed on the side; Google "injectible B-12" and do a little digging and you'll find the info you need. |

Or the 12-hour energy drink that is basically a ridiculuously high dose of b12? Or are you hooked on mainlining? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 491996she knows something you don't now it's up to you to find out the only way to take B-12 |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 491996Vitamin B-12 is often not digested well at all in the digestive tract - so, B-12 shots are the best method. It is good to take folic acid and other B vitamins along with it. |
gsbltd User ID: 498936 United States 09/07/2008 12:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There's also a reason they inject B-12 in hospitals instead of giving it orally. Larger doses hit your bloodstream faster for more immediate results in a system that is nutritionally-deficient. Your energy-drinks are a JOKE compared to injectible vitimin suppliments and the same thing goes for other oral applications [including sublingual] as well. OP: you may want to pick a recent copy of the PDR while you're at it! It makes a very GOOD starting point for ANY self-medication and will help you avoid any tragic errors in judgement [that even Doctors make frequently]. |

Works fine, feel great and after two years of daily injections, I have not started mooing yet:) |

Not at all - feels like a mosquito bite, if even. The secret to giving yourself an intra-muscular shot, is to totally relax the muscle that you're injecting. (if you're shooting yourself in the ass muscle, be sure to take all your body weight OFF the leg which is the same side as the ass muscle that you're injecting. Nope, B-12 shots are quite painless. |

Yes - B-12 is Cyanocobalamin. B-6 is Pyridoxine. It's better to take shots that have multiple B-vitamins AND folic acid, not just B-12 alone. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 471668 United States 09/07/2008 01:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why don't you just consume your vitamins in another way? There's no need to inject vitamins into yourself. In fact injecting anything greatly increases the risk for disease. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 487804B-12 taken orally is not assimilated by the body well - B-12 intramuscular shots are well-assimilated by the body - works MUCH better. |
