Lotus, you owe yourself to sit down, close your eyes and try to forget everything you know, or have heard, seen.
Imagine McCain AND Obama are from Mars. Then figure out what they both stand for, on issues. You have allowed yourself to get so caught up on the propaganda campaign, and would rather believe a lie than persue the truth.
No, I think Lotus discerns wisely that Obama is not what he is attempting to appear to be.
Not that the repubs are the savior - but Obama presents like the Messiah - which he is NOT!
The man has some dangerous ideas, and when he doesn't have cue cards to read from, he doesn't seem to be able to present them without exposing them for what they are and scaring the crap out of people. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 426194

So ...
He is fifty percent white.
He is forty-three and three-fourths percent Arab.
He is six and one-fourth percent African Negro.
Now...
"White" isn't black.
"Arabic" isn't black.
That leaves six and one-fourth percent of him as "black".
Now I think it's wonderful that a person with some black ancestry has become so successful. However, he is not the only one of black ancestry in ths nation to become successful ... we can name hundreds if not thousands of black and part-black success stories in this great USA.
That us not the point here.
The issue I have is:
1. Why does he portray himself as a "black candidate"?
If he is elected, he will be our first Arab-American president.
2. Is he Muslim?
Now I don't care if someone is Lutherin, Methodist, Assemblies of God, Catholic, Amish, Mormon, Baptist, Quaker, et al ... these are all Christian religions, and like it or not, the vast majority of our populace is Christian. And I am absolutely certain the vast majority of Christians are interested in whether or not this presidential candidate is a Christian or a Muslim. If he is not a Christian, and just masquarading as one (which is sanctioned in Islamic Law ... it's fine to lie to non-Muslims in order to further the faith of Islam). then the American voting public has not only a right to know that ... it is essential that we know that.
3. Where was he born?
We are not talking about the son of a military man, born on a military base.
We are talking about a presidential candidate possibly born in a muslim country to muslim parents, and schooled in a muslim madrassa.
Big difference!!!
If he has lied about his place of birth ...
if he has lied about his true faith ...
if he lies about his true ancestry ...
then how can we believe anything he says?
