Question about Freemason's
hey, so long story short my grandfather died a few months back and recently i got a Suitcase from his will, in the Suitcase is a Freemason Apron (what is it for?)

it also has a little UNMARKED book, now this book is about the size of your palm and it is all about the Ritual's, and grandmasters etc really hard to explain without knowing about freemasons.

also has alot of really wierd bits of paper and other stuff, basically i want to know how can i tell what degree/level of mason he was? and why was this suitcase so "top secret" (by that i mean he wouldnt LET ANYONE touch the suitcase or anything inside of it)

sorry about being vague but its hard to explain without fully knowing about freemasons

I would be careful with that info and stuff. these masons dont even like there secretes even being talked about. however they also dont like non masons getting hold of stuff like that.

I was thinking... if they have secrets to protect, wouldn't they have some sort of established procedure to take care of things like this... when members die?

The Apron is worn at rituals ... Very common and the paper work that is important is in Latin. there won't be any pictures there that upset Masons.

Re: Question about Freemason's
I am kinda an insider, of sorts. I am not a Mason. Had a good friend whose father was a high level Mason. In levels, it is easy to go from 1 to 32; its the 33rd that encompasses the secret society stuff.

But I will share this info, that I was told. There are 2 major groupings of Masons. One believes in God aslike a force, the other in God as a personal being. I was told these two groups are headed by major countries, and it was listed for me which countries belonged to which group. I forget now that listing (my experience has kinda taken me beyond caring much about it...).
But, it was like 3 countries per side, with the USA heading the group which believes in a personal being, France heading the group which sees god as a force.
Also, the "war on terroism" is a clash between these groups; there is alot more to it, and Iraq is like a pawn...

Oh Please!

That is so not true!

All Masons are part of a secret society that is what Masons are.

Why don't you head over to Thread: The "Real" Illuminati?

ive found 2 cards which seems to be like a interview, they are kind of small with a 1 degree which looks REALLY old and a 3rd degree, but its missing a 2 so i dunno if 3rd was the highest he got or yeah.

they have a little note at the top saying " This copy to be returned to the Secretery immediatly after use."
