In the meantime: as men with degrees and unparalleled ambition tamper with the fabric of the universe, ALTERING AND UNLEASHING WHAT THEY CANNOT POSSIBLY CONTROL - rather than rage in furious anger at the utter stupidity of these salt-water electro-chemical bags of dust, I will cope using various forms of humor as we hurtle towards certain doom.

A group calling themselves the Greek Security Team claim they have hacked into the computer system of LHC. They stated they had no intention of disrupting the experiment- only that they wanted to highlight flaws in security, which in their opinion is as though it's being handled by school children.

OP...correct me if I'm wrong, but there's been another post here about web bots picking up 10/7/08 as being a date we'll remember for a long time and that 9/22 through 9/27 will give us a hint as to what's coming on 10/7...doesn't that roughly equal the next three weeks that you're talking about? Perhaps the web bots have picked up on what happened at CERN and the consequences of that? Just wondering...
