Those who take Pat Robertson seriously, however, might not be lucky enough to escape severe injury or death. Some of his alleged messages from God can be extremely destructive.
For example, Robertson says God told him in May 1986: "I have chosen you to usher in the coming of My Son." God expounded: "I'm going to let you usher him in. Now, where do you usher in the Coming? You usher in the Coming where He's going to come."
Robertson construed the revelation as meaning God wanted CBN to provide worldwide television coverage of Christ's second coming. So he announced plans for the network to broadcast the event live from the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.
No date was specified for this media extravaganza. But by indicating to his followers that the second coming would occur within his lifetime, Robertson in effect discouraged them from planning for the long term.
If those persons believe that the world will end soon, there is little incentive to strive to improve their lot in this life, and even less reason to help their children and grandchildren attain a better life. Because the return of Jesus is imminent, such earthly concerns are moot. The only important thing is being ready for the world's culmination and getting into heaven.
People having that attitude can also lose interest in many other significant aspects of life, such as protecting the environment. They become indifferent to whether society preserves natural resources, develops alternative sources of energy, abates pollution of the air and water, stops global warming, maintains the ecosystem's balance, implements recycling programs, slows population growth, and protects the earth in other ways for the benefit of future generations.
Their worldview can be particularly dangerous if adopted by government officials. For instance, James Watt had the duty of enforcing environmental laws as U.S. Secretary of the Interior in the 1980s. But he believed that Jesus was coming soon and the world would be destroyed.
As a result, Watt didn't worry about protecting natural resources. He said, "God gave us these things to use. After the last tree is felled, Christ will come back." |

A Key to Understanding Prophecy
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 is prophecy: Prophecy
being fulfilled in this very day, but prophecy few understand.
It is amazing some of the postulations given. Some
believe some man is going to set himself up in some rebuilt
Temple in Jerusalem and proclaim himself as Christ
but he will really be the Antichrist.
To understand prophecy, one has to use certain
Bible keys. There is an important key to get the meaning
of the “man of sin or lawlessness”:
That the singular describes the plural!
Two Bible examples of this follow.
First is 2 John 7,& 1 John 2:18 & 22.
These Scriptures tells us that nearly 2000 years ago there were many antichrists:
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who
do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver
and the antichrist. 2 John 7
(note the many deceivers are the singular deceiver or antichrist)
Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist
is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen; from this we
know that it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18
Note in this verse that the one Antichrist is described as the
many antichrists.
1ST John 2:22 teaches us the Antichrist is “the one”
who denies Jesus is the Christ.
Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.
1 John 2:22.
Note, the NAS, and the NIV uses the words “this is the Antichrist”.
Young's literal translation puts it this way:
Who is the liar, except he who is denying that Jesus is the
Christ? this one is the antichrist who is denying the Father and the Son;
1 John 2:22
AGAIN !
That the singular describes the plural!
Second, let's go to Genesis 36:19 and Genesis 36:8.
These are the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these are their
chiefs. Genesis 36:19
So Esau lived in the hill country of Seir; Esau is Edom.
Genesis 36:8.
We see in these two Scripture verses that the singular “Esau” is
the plural “Edom” (i.e. the many descendent's from Esau).
The point is this, using the prophecy key of the singular describing
the plural, the “man” in 2 Thessalonians is a plurality, a collective
group of men. “He” is “they”!
A group that God is going to slay: And then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance
of His coming; 2 Thessalonians 2:8
(it is no wonder they instinctively hate Jesus).
THEY, being the dependents of Esau. who are alive and remain with us today !

Ask yourself, who worships or say that they worship GOD, the God of the Bible, but also DENY JESUS as the Son of God..

Tell me, where did the non-Jewish Palestinians GO??? That would be the people who were already living there...
Study the documents of the time. The population of Palestine was VERY small before the return of the Jews increased. Thousands of Arabs from neighbouring regions were attracted there because suddenly there was work and employment. The place was a desert, both in human and agricultural terms.
The name "Palestina" itself was given to *Judea* by the Romans in an atempt to completely erase the memory of the kingdom and people that lived there when they destroyed Jerusalem, made a horrendous massacre and expeled the Jews en masse.
The Arabs couldn't care less about the so-called Palestinian People. What they care about is the Califate, which is nothing less than Arab imperialism. And some (too many) western idiots passively swallow the tales they tell.

To call this ethnic cleansing is such a gross overstatement. The author of the article should actually check the definition before using such terms.
If these families were slaughtered that would be cleansing, forced to move out, even though none of the 28 families have left, is a far cry and gross mis-characterization of this situation.
