I'm 45 and I think I'm growing taller. Anybody else?

Noticed this 2 weeks ago when I sat on the john. Had further to go. Also my bathroom sink seems to be lower. Pants hitting higher on the ankle also. Anybody else. Am a 45 year old female.

This actually happened to me. Was 6'2" most of my adult life. Now an inch taller. My doctor said it is rare, but not unheard of.

Wow, really. Well maybe it is possible. I certainly hope so. Always wanted to be around 5'6. Hope it would stop there though. Could it be a brain tumor?

Well, there's probably nothing wrong with you. My gaining an inch happened in the past year, and I was told I was in good health. I'm 52.

Well,I feel fine. So I guess I'll just go with it and see what happens. Just hadn't heard of anything like this happening.

Fascinating, had to log on and respond. I used to be 5' and 3/4 of an inch. Last time I went to the doc and got measured I was 5' and 1 and 1/2 inches. I'm 42 and when I recently bought shoes, I had gone up half a size. Don't know what's up with that, but's it pretty weird.

Interesting. Did you just recently find this out or was it some time ago? Do you think it's got anything to do with the earth's magnetic field changing? Don't know, but this was my first thought for some reason.

I even bought an Inversion Table to help it along,
not only am I growing in height but my shoulders are
getting wider, I had to buy Large t-shirts my old ones
looked like they were for a school kid, my arms are rock
solid and I personally luv it, add a good diet and some
wight training.

Honestly, do you think something is "happening" to us? I mean and if we are getting taller, why is this happening to folks who are well past their growing years? I mean what would be the purpose?

They are giving all kinds of hormones to animals, thus it is in our food supply.

yikes didn't think about what happens to glands as people age, they start to malfunction. good point. probably the best explanation so far. go to your general practioner or ob/gyn. if it's true and you are growing medical science would like to know why!
