Quoting: Anonymous Coward 504750I was going to do that, but the problem is that I am a little unsure as to what my height was before this happened. I do know that I was between 5'3 and 5'4 so I have been trying on different pants and standing next to shelves and things that somehow now seem to be lower than they were. My knees were hurting too about the same time that I noticed the change. Would a growth spurt be possible at this age? |

Could it be a brain tumor? |

Last time I went to the doc and got measured I was 5' and 1 and 1/2 inches. I'm 42 and when I recently bought shoes, I had gone up half a size. Don't know what's up with that, but's it pretty weird. |

Never really desired to be taller, but I'll take it. |

Don't know, but this was my first thought for some reason. |

Well actually the word ascension popped in my mind too. I don't know if this would result in physical changes, but if ascending effects one's emotions and states of mind, I guess it could manifest physically too huh? |

Don't know, but this was my first thought for some reason. Last went to a doctor about a year and half ago, bought shoes last week. I haven't given it too much thought, but the idea of earth and spiritual changes did occur to me. Strange I hear women around me talk about getting shorter and me, who's always been the shortest in most crowds am getting taller. It's odd and I was kinda intrigued someone else had experienced it. |

Honestly, do you think something is "happening" to us? I mean and if we are getting taller, why is this happening to folks who are well past their growing years? I mean what would be the purpose? |

Quoting: spurt 476283Yes I considered that too, but I don't know, I just think its more than that. I eat organic, no processed or fast foods, buy my meat at a farm, no hormones. And get my water at a spring, no fluoride. So I don't think that works in my case. |

Gotta run out to check on my in-laws. Live in Indiana and we got slammed by hurricane force winds on Sunday past. We have power, but hubby's folks don't. So thanks for all the imput. |
