Noticed this 2 weeks ago when I sat on the john. Had further to go. Also my bathroom sink seems to be lower. Pants hitting higher on the ankle also. Anybody else. Am a 45 year old female.

This actually happened to me. Was 6'2" most of my adult life. Now an inch taller. My doctor said it is rare, but not unheard of.

I was going to do that, but the problem is that I am a little unsure as to what my height was before this happened. I do know that I was between 5'3 and 5'4 so I have been trying on different pants and standing next to shelves and things that somehow now seem to be lower than they were. My knees were hurting too about the same time that I noticed the change. Would a growth spurt be possible at this age?

Wow, really. Well maybe it is possible. I certainly hope so. Always wanted to be around 5'6. Hope it would stop there though. Could it be a brain tumor?

Fascinating, had to log on and respond. I used to be 5' and 3/4 of an inch. Last time I went to the doc and got measured I was 5' and 1 and 1/2 inches. I'm 42 and when I recently bought shoes, I had gone up half a size. Don't know what's up with that, but's it pretty weird.

Well, there's probably nothing wrong with you. My gaining an inch happened in the past year, and I was told I was in good health. I'm 52.

I don't think it's illness, just an odd change. Never really desired to be taller, but I'll take it.

Interesting. Did you just recently find this out or was it some time ago? Do you think it's got anything to do with the earth's magnetic field changing? Don't know, but this was my first thought for some reason.

Well actually the word ascension popped in my mind too. I don't know if this would result in physical changes, but if ascending effects one's emotions and states of mind, I guess it could manifest physically too huh?

Last went to a doctor about a year and half ago, bought shoes last week. I haven't given it too much thought, but the idea of earth and spiritual changes did occur to me.

Strange I hear women around me talk about getting shorter and me, who's always been the shortest in most crowds am getting taller. It's odd and I was kinda intrigued someone else had experienced it.

Honestly, do you think something is "happening" to us? I mean and if we are getting taller, why is this happening to folks who are well past their growing years? I mean what would be the purpose?

I eat organic, no processed or fast foods, buy my meat at a farm, no hormones. And get my water at a spring, no fluoride. So I don't think that works in my case.

Well, I don't really trust the medical profession as a whole, but I have heard this explanation before. I'll google this subject when I get home. Gotta run out to check on my in-laws. Live in Indiana and we got slammed by hurricane force winds on Sunday past. We have power, but hubby's folks don't. So thanks for all the imput.
