Where Church's bell towers use to be -- a cuckoo clock. The world in the 'stan' ending countries also need - cuckoo clocks. Cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo. Especially in Wall Street in prominent places - a cuckoo clock. In Washington D.C. in certain areas - a cuckoo clock. |

It is really just a report--That" M "had testified in front of congress-- I know nothing has been done yet but--I always assumed that this would be done in house... Doesnt the FBI have the greatest crime lab in the World? Why would the head of the FBI ask for an outside inverstigation? he doesnt trust his people Labs or the investigating agents? What is they RED FLAG that set him off? There are other people in here that looked into this with some ferver---I remember the PINS after the scientist died. Does anyone else care to speculate why the Head Of the FBI would do this? Alt+F4 Allows GodLikeProductions User to Check Current score in Thread Dialog. We really need a civilian review instead of yet another cooked up coverup as the government 'independent' investigations always seem to become from Watergate to Whitewater to 9/11 to Chicago fraud- there's just way too much money and power to influence the outcomes. Even Patrick Fitzgerald has been compromised via threats to his family. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 505281 United States 09/17/2008 06:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | GOP Senator and former prosecutor Arlen Specter was just as emphatic in telling Mueller that the FBI's case plainly fell short of what could have been used to convict Ivins in a criminal trial. He said he had grave doubts about the FBI's case, and demanded Mueller's consent to allow an independent body to review the FBI's evidence (though Specter, as usual, is either confused or being deliberately obtuse because Mueller keeps committing to having outside scientists review the FBI's scientific methods but not the entire case against Ivins -- a distinction which GOP Sen. Charles Grassley, one of the key skeptics in the Senate regarding the FBI's case, just highlighted and objected to). Full article: [link to www.salon.com] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 505281 United States 09/17/2008 08:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is the key part of the Salon.com story: He said he had grave doubts about the FBI's case, and demanded Mueller's consent to allow an independent body to review the FBI's evidence (though Specter, as usual, is either confused or being deliberately obtuse because Mueller keeps committing to having outside scientists review the FBI's scientific methods but not the entire case against Ivins -- a distinction which GOP Sen. Charles Grassley, one of the key skeptics in the Senate regarding the FBI's case, just highlighted and objected to). Mueeler isn't seeking an outside review of the case against Ivins but a review of the FBI's scientific methods. It ain't the same thing at all. |
