Time to take action and create offline GLP groups.

I am already in a group preparing for tshtf phase.
I am the member who is into research, connecting through the net etc.

What worked for me was: i just started on my own, slowly i meet more and more like minded.

i based the statistics on alexa.com/estibot.com info, but i guess their wrong!

I'm not sure what it would accomplish, but we need to join together to change things.

Who is to be trusted, and who is untrusted? Unfortunately due to the very nature of this forum, I have taken the stance that I will no longer voice my actual opinion on any of these topics of great value here. I read, I think, and inside my own mind I come up with options, plans, backup plans. I don't share any of this for the simple reason of "puppies" and "flowers". Once you know the secret to that last sentence you might realize that perhaps it's unwise to rant too much here, or to volunteer to meet with people that are on this forum. I'm not certain what it is exactly, but I can say it's an illusion. Every flock is easier to manage if you can gather the sheep up.

Instead of all of this I have initiated my backup backup plan, which has to do with me, and noone else. Noone need know what it is, it will not affect anyone else, but my goal is what it has always been. Freedom. If this is your goal, then you should be aware, you need noone else to achieve the goal, it's a solo mission, one lost in the infinate distraction.

Darza...isnt that called a cult? GLP is useful for some news before its out there, a few funnies, old music and a bit of doom and gloom. Preparing for the end of the world would be very pointless because the end of the world would mean...the end of people and everything else. You cant prepare for nothing or reincarnation....unless you are doing another doomsaday cult as has happened many times over and not come to pass. If the doomsday cults waited a little....they would have realised it wasnt the end, see;

Cults are not good....its murderous. GLP is mucking about and delving into politics/religion/weather/finance....intellectual pursuits while we are living and CURIOUS. CURIOUS means hope is still alive and kicking. No-one asks questions anymore if they have no hope. No-one prepares if they truly believe this is the end of times...because tehre would be nothing to prepare FOR. Its a game.....like Warcraft without a set of rules.

My concern is if the Internet gets closed down, how do we get information? - That is my concern about not having an offline group.

What if like-thinkers needed to physically join together in the future? I can think of a few reasons why we'd want to do that, can't you?

It is a good idea like a local call list in your area and then branch out from there.

when the net goes down the balloon goes up, the only thing i am going to be concerned about is my city,family, and friends.

it would be a great time to turn off the tv, and check out shortwave from time to time. but seriously, there will be so much to do, you won't have time to worry about much else
