I haven't looked at this stuff for a while...but I'm a trumpet man myself...love the trumpets. So I guess that makes it the Seventh Seal right?
The first four trumpets have been blown but they haven't been unleashed on the world yet.
The first trumpet refers to Mt Ararat...it blew around 3000BC, hail, fire...the earths blood came pouring out of Ararat and onto the earth. Now it says that a third of the trees was burnt up on the earth...now at this time Noah's crowd etc hadn't moved off the continent...so that's what's meant by earth/world...the world for Noah et al was very small back then...so a third of the known world was burnt up.
The Second trumpet refers to an earthquake and Tsunami...these all happened around the same time...this one happened off the coast of Syria...the earthquake was so huge that it made a 'new harbour' on the Syrian coast; much like when Lisbon fell into the sea during their earthquake, their were huge fires on the mountainside as it fell into the sea and destroyed much of the coastline and a third of what was in the med. This happened I think between 3000 and 2500BC.
The third trumpet refer to an asteroid that fell between the river Euphrates and Tigris in Mesopatamia; what is now Iraq and Iran. It is known as Umm al binnin lake and it landed around 2300BC...it caused untold devastation and would have polluted the water destroying most of civilisation in the area.
The fourth trumpet refers to atmospheric fallout from a volcano, presumably the one in trumpet 1. The sky is full of volcanic ash etc...it's happened a few times in history...the best example in recent history was when a volcano in the Pacific caused an eery darkness all the way to London.
The fifth trumpet is amazing...you see all these things are about the environment and natural cataclysms...so the it follows that the fifth trumpet should be no different. If you ask yourself what has occured recently that has had a huge impact on the environment, comparable to the above 4 trumpet and it's oil. The bottomless pit is not the devil's abode...it's that stick black stuff known as crude oil. I let you guess what the rest means.
Now oil was discovered in 1908 at Spindletop Texas...so that means that the fallen star must be found in Texas. And of course the fallen star is of course Odessa' crater in Texas. Amazingly George Bush Snr and little Jnr spent a couple of years living next to the crater...god only knows what that was all about. You can find Odessa and any of the above natural events in your encyclopedias...maybe even a story about George's 'initiation'?!?!
So that means that we're ready for the sixth trumpet...now this is an interesting part because not many people read this right...for all his patent errors Ronald Weinland actually understood it...but many don't. The sixth trumpet releases trumpets one, two, three and four...the clue is the four angles on the River Euphrates...the four angles are Turkey, Syria, Iran and Iraq...the four natural cataclysms from one, two, three and four.
But now Noah's crowd has moved to populate the entire earth...so what does this mean? It means that when the angels of the four trumpets are released...it is going to be on a global level. So expect a Super Volcano, an entire state to fall into the oceans, a meteorite to destroy a huge water supply and fallout that covers a third of the earth, causing a cataclysmic drought.
Pretty amazing stuff?!?! It all fits in rearly nicely with Ezekiel and Isaial, even Daniel. The next bit is a war! A massive war...the largest of all battles..it speaks for itself...fitting in really nicely with Ezekiel 38. |

18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
18:14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
18:15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
18:16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18:18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
18:22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. |

Sorry. Can't really say why. It was just some sort of inner "feeling" as I read through Revelation one time. When I couple that with other "feelings" I have had, I have to trust it.

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 506323 9/20/2008 6:13 AM | | Re: WHERE ARE WE UPTO IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION... | Quote | Honestly as bad as it is. (Listen to the BBC to hear the status on other parts of the world and things that happened in recent years.)
I don't think that we are into the seals of revelation yet. If we were many prophets would proclaim it and people would have visions and dreams confirming it. At the momemnt we are in Matthew Chapter 24
"4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all[a]these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. "
Thats where we are at the moment. Beginnings of sorrows actually translates birthpangs of sorrows. Just as a women gets ready to give birth the pangs get more frequent and more intense. So will wars, famine, plagues, earthquakes, and false christs the one in Texas a few months ago is a good example.
Now what is said about when these things start to happen? Well this is the conclusion.
"33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it[d] is near—at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. "
There are other things that happen which you can read about after verse 8 but we havent reached that part yet.
The first seal in revelation will open when the Antichrist (who makes 3.5 years of peace from a 7 year peace treaty) comes to power. |

They think it is a book of astrology.

18:22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
Yeah, that's one of favourites. 17 and 18 are a two part deal. I dare not talk about the ol' girl here...But the fact that people think it's US/Papacy/UK is just great...I love that it is being discussed by so many people.
well the U.S. has been around 300 plus yrs .however the Bible refers to a city..not a nation ..how is it that all of the saints and prophets were slain all over the earth by America..when America is such a young Nation. ...so how many nations have killed prophets and saints . ..who knows where Babylon is..the richest Nations on Earth are in the Middleast..untold wealth over there..kinda gets you to thinking..who is it..all nations have sinned..this could grow long legs..Pray daily for peace..
