Why are you blaming this on the "Dems"? Some writers on SNL came up with this skit. I completely oppose Sarah Palin based on her politics, and I think the SNL skit was uncalled for and over top. Those kind of attacks are more in line with the Republicans. Remember back in 2000 when McCain was said to have a black baby. That attack came from Bush/Rove. And just a couple of weeks ago McCain lied about Obama calling Palin a pig.
