That was the wierdest thing I have ever seen! The President looked FROZEN and just like a puppet on strings. He looked terrified. The red tie was a sign a warning to someone or something. He always wears a blue tie. A red flag warning definitly. The speech was given very quickly. I checked all the networks and they were similar.It was sooo fast that I couldn't follow it! I don't think we were meant to! I was totally thrown off by the wierd sound effects. It sounded like a dragon was in the room with him. It was very very very strange and I think things must be worse than even we can imagine. He looked terrified, deer in the headlights terrified  ...ugh, I am so freaked out that I took some of my husband's valium. I am going to bed and hope we are all still here in the morning. Red tie, red flag. false flag, it doesn't bear thinking of............... |

Actually I'm not trying to.
You may well be right that it IS sunlight....but I tivod the speech and am looking at the opening shots when the camera angle is at its widest....and there is nothing to conclusively indicate SUNlight is THE source of the lighting from the right side of the screen because none of the windows are visible in the shot(s).
If there's something I'm missing, I'm all ears..not trying to 'debunk' just offering a different 'critical thinking' point of view from the one majoritively offered so far on this thread.
In other words....I always think for myself even when many of my otherwise 'like minded' peers are convinced of one thing that I might not necessary agree with at least not without explanation.

this is an extroadinary period for America's Economy. Over the past few weeks many american's have felt anxiety over their finances and their future.
21:01:42 I understand their worry and frustration. We've seen triple digit swings in the stock market.
21:01:49 Major financial institutions have teatered on edge of collapse. And some have failed.
21:02:01 As uncertainty has grown, many banks have restricted lending. credit markets have frozen and families and businesses have found it harder to borrow money. - We are in the midst of a serious financial crisis. And the federal gov't is responding with decisive action.
21:02:17 We boosted confidence in money market mutual funds, and acted to prevent major investors from intentionally driving down stocks for their own personal gain. But most importantly, my administration is working with congress to address the root cause behind much of the instability in our markets.
21:02:31 financial asssests related to home mortages have lost value during the housing decline. And the banks holding these assets have restricted credit. As a result, our entire economy in danger.
21:02:47 So I propose that the Federal Gov't reduce the risks for these asst. - resume lending
21:02:57 rescue effort not aimed at preserving any company
21:03:07 will help am. consumers daily needs - create jobs
21:03:18 america's financial system back on track
21:03:25 how will the solution I propose work? what does this mean for your financial future?
21:03:40 how did our economy reach this point?

21:07:10 i'm a strong believer in free interprise - co's make bad decisions they should be allowed to go out of biz

21:07:35 major markets at risk for shutting down - am could slip into financial panic - more bak=nks could fail, stock market fall more, value of hme plummet
21:08:04 if you own a biz or farm - more biz would close their doors and millions could lose jobs

Chile does not use credit like americans.
If this bill gets passed, I would suggest ALL mortages stop being paid. If they want to screw us, I wonder how they think they will succeed with ALL houses in america in forclosure. They are not going to screw us without us winning.
If the government pays out these corrupt bankers, then let's let all banks cover our cost. Can they forclose on 90 percent of american homes, how long in court do you think that would take. How much money would they spend to do it.
Fight fire with fire. I got the guts to win how about all the others that are mad about this.

Everyone who is wondering if it was green screen, etc...it DEFINATELY was. Everyone in my living room burst out laughing when it came on bc it reminded us of an SNL skit or something. So where is he? Why couldn't he do a normal news-ish shoot?
I'm sure it was prerecorded.
Also, he said nothing of substance. He basically repeated everything we already know. The only *new* thing I heard was that he wanted McCain & Obama in DC...which several outlets had already mentioned, at least we heard it straight from him this time. |
