I seem to have developed a heart & lung condition
have high blood pressure, and are getting these painful cramps in the chest region.
My Doc has prescribed Duride 60 mg pills, Dillzem, for reduced blood pressure, Nitrolingual inhaler, an anti spasm puffer, and Aspirin to counter the side effects (headaches) of the Durides

Well the cramps went away for a few weeks but are back again, so i am starting to think perhaps i am on the wrong meds ?
any good idea`s out there ?

How old are you?

What brings on the pain?

Do you get pain on exercise, or when resting?

What is your diet like?

I have a reasonably healthy diet, and am the right weight for my height.
a friend is a Chinese herbalist he recommends stuff like hawthorn tea,

The anti angina pills are watered down rat poison
my next test is running a treadmill with heart monitors attached, its called the stress test.

52 yrs old

to much work

i use my upper body for work, arms and shoulders mainly
when ever they start aching i take a break, but then in the evenings if i have over done it, this comes back, the ache is different too these cramps, some are just mild but others put me on the floor where i have to roll around in an attempt to relax this tension located in my chest, and back sometimes it goes quickly, but other occasions i feel like bone china getting up from the floor has to be done slowly or this cramp returns.

My diet i eat fish, chicken, some red meat but not much
i like most veggys and love fruit, make my own bread in fact next year if my crop of Salba is a success i will be eating the healthiest food on the planet
these pills make me feel worse !

Just get off the meds,I have a cholesterol reading of 325 my family doc is absolutely ape over it insists on meds.I know though the meds will kill you quicker than anything, they are made to induce other symptoms which lead to more meds which lead to more money. It is a vicious cycle and it is ment to kill you.Your diet sounds great though, maybe try some meditation or relaxation techniques to lower your bp.

Okay, yes it sounds like your doc needs to review your meds.
Are you over weight?
If so, is the weight mainly around your mid-section?
Are you drinking alot of water?
Do you get to move around using your legs or are you mainly sitting?
If so

Yeah I am not happy with all these pills, 7 different scripts
and still most of the chest probs remain, next week i will visit my herbal friend, he pointed out to me that another friend in common who has an organic farm, has all the weeds and plants to possibly put this ailment right so it looks like a boil up of hawthorn berrys dandylion tea etc.

Dear God, man! Don't take medical advice from random posters on an anonymous Internet forum! Go to another docter and get a second opinion if you are not 100% confident about your current treatment!!!

Relax my friend i am just asking because some others here may have the same complaint ? and as so might be able to shed a little light on it
i thank all of you for the advice given, and this i find to be good advice as i have always been skeptical about western pharma meds
in fact for years have been allergic to doctors, it is these pains that have driven me there though, i have hardly ever taken drugs, so it is freaky looking at these things knowing i have to ingest them.

Get in touch with a practioner with Sound Health. Sharry Edwards has a technique that listens to the voice and shows what frequencies of the voice are unbalanced.

It is a strange technology but it may just help determine the cause of your issues.

Wow how interesting by the tone of ones voice Amazing !
My herbal friend mentioned what is involved in a heavy metals test
4 samples of hair are taken close to the root from ones scalp
it costs about $100.00 NZ to analyse and the proper treatment can be applied by this finding, many people have high metal contaminants in their body`s without realizing and there is a cure for it as these metals can be flushed, just living down wind from an industrial part of town can do damage.

Well if you smoke and drink coffee enjoy them, i know a number of people that condemn themselves unduly for these habits and i cant see the point in that ! so if this heightens an experience where you can extract meaningful pleasure from each moment i say go for full throttle up and enjoy !!

the swim more idea is a good one,
my weight is not a concern,
how to give up smoking ? the stats are packed against the smoker, the other day i read an American medical research paper on tobacco, in the states out of all the smokers that try to give up only 7 per cent kick the habit.
and it is thee no 1 leading killer
nicoten has thousands of separate chemical compounds, its a very complex sucker thats for sure.
