"It" can't change. You have to be the change, remember?
Community means you have to know your neighbors and want to interact with them. So there is a place to start. It may feel like a task one person couldn't possibly take on alone, but that is where we have to start. I can't convience you and you can't convience me. I have to be what I want to see around me. If I'm sitting behind a computer, alone in my room, I am saying that is where I want everyone to be. And the only unity there is that we gather on glp now and then to vent or see what others are saying. Saying.
Not being. And in being we are the way. |

that's the problem..
in the old days they would just build impossible things like pyramids and shit and that was the common purpose..
now everyone sees through the bullshit..
the only thing that would bring people together now is something truly OUT OF THIS WORLD...
will we see that in our life times? Few will listen,
Of the few who listen, fewer still will understand,
Understanding does not mean believe,
Of the handful who believe, most may not know what to do,
Those who even know, how many will actually do ?
And the rare ones who have done it.......
Need not listen to you anymore.

What about 911?
That certainly brought everyone together.

Culture should be respected not merged.
If we keep on going the way we are going...we will be left with shells of former cultures...The Japanese will be nothing more than high end consumers known for Sushi Train. American's once known as a beacon of freedom, will be nothing more than fast food and amusement parks. China, the oldest civilisation in the world will be nothing more than a factory for the new world.
Lao Tzu' penultimate chapter summed it up nicely...oh for a small country...communication between states should be reduced to the tying of knots on a post.
Nowhere in the world is respect of individual culture being broken down as fast than in Europe...who would've thought the drunk Irish would be the ones to slow it down.
If you want unity...respect and space...when you discard the cupid and TV...Love is just space...space to grow...individual cultural freedom. |

We'll be seeing something, not sure if this is it though:
"War, rumors of war, corrupt governments run by psychopaths, phony terrorism, burgeoning police states...but is that all we have to worry about? What if there was something to put it all in context? Or rather, what if there is something else we are missing, something that is beyond the control of even the political and corporate elite; something that is driving them to attempt to herd the global population to an ever finer order of control..."

I always meet the next door people and talk to the people across the street, talk to people walking my dog to the store. Some are weirded out and others obviously scared but most are glad to meet you and happy to talk about the neighborhood.
Don't be scared to meet people. |

lol the video would have been good if not for the quote by Laura Jadyck Knight, thus robbing it entirely of any hope of appearing credible. I was even going to e-mail it to a couple friends, had the e-mail open and everything, and when I saw "Laura Jadzyck Knight" or whatever her name is, I closed the e-mail lol. I finished the video, thought it was good, but they should take the link to SOTT off of it and completely dis-affilliate it with that wackjob woman. |
