For real. Overactive thyroid, radioactive iodine will cure it.

Don't want to go with the medication, follow up with the vet route, which won't cure it. Pain in the ass.

FYI

I'm putting this on the house.

If she was an elderly cat, I would look at it differently.

10 years ago my cat cost me over $1000 as he ended up being diabetic.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I hope your cat get well soon.

Hi,

Sorry about your Kitty!

Do a lot of research on the net. Just Googled it and there are dozens of other solutions. Get second opinions. Sounds like your vet is gouging you.

The cat's problem could be caused by the type of food it eats, what is in the water, etc?

Try asking a Naturalopathic Healer to avoid the "nuke".

Good luck

Hi Paradigm, I'm taking her in Monday morning.

This treatment is new to me and I find it very interesting.

All it is is one shot of that radioactive iodine based on what I've been told.

But then, I can't bring her home for four days (state of Ohio laws) because of the half life of the medicine. The doc told me that it's so minimal that the half life will be gone in two days but they have to follow the law which is four days.

So I feel sad because Buttercup will be in a cage for four freaking days!

But hey we have to suffer sometime for the good stuff, don't we?

I have a solution..its found within websters dictionary.

If you have a copy pick it up, walk over to your ailing but expensive feline, and smack the fucker upside the head. It will make some noises that you may attribute from it being hungry to being upset.. thats ok. Continue smacking the feline with the webster until sounds are no longer heard.

Dispose of feline. Pocket book will instantly get bigger and your worries will diminish!

Think i'm fibbing?? Try it.

Then you will quit wasting bandwidth and bytes on forums.

FUCK, I might as well start talking about how my carpet doesn't properly fall in the same directions at seems.

I remember my mom taking radioactive iodone for her thyroid many years ago. It came from Miami in a lead box.

Re: I'm spending $1,300 dollars for my cat's treatmentQuote

Cats have their way to seduce us cat owners. My female black cat has been on the vet clinic all the past week, she got a bad and nasty infection and I was really afraid for her life. I have been going to see her every day for hours, almost did not showed up on job because of this.

Just today she was able to drink some milk and I now know she will be back at home soon, but I have suffered like never thought I'd do. I don't want to imagine yet what the whole bill will be, but I'd sell my car for her if I needed to.

This is the first day of the week I feel that I will be able to sleep well as I know that she is getting better.

BTW, Tessa does have an air to HL, but just an air.

Anyway Tessa, I really like your avatars and pics, you are really attractive, and your smile makes one feel warm at the heart, thanks for that!
