I am not sure what the relevance is here but the new moon will be seen (with high tech equipment) at 11:12 AM Monday, Jerusalem time. But the 100 blasts on the shofar are at Sundown, Jerusalem time on Monday??? [ link to www.timeanddate.com] It has to been seen without optical aid. (they didn't have help in biblical times) The day starts at sunset, so that is when the shofar sounds if the new moon is seen.
