You know what's odd, Russia is buying $10B worth of IMF bonds, but it ran out of money and is going to borrow exactly $10B from the World Bank. Funny funny.

Re: REINHARDT ...post your questions for him here.
It's late & I'm tired but ran across something that might make a difference if I was considering investing in China, even though some "top dogs" do I have read lately.

"Throughout 2008, only 3,500 enterprises formally filed for bankruptcy in China. Hiding behind this tiny number however is the approximately 800,000 businesses that exited the market by either cancelling their registration or having their business license revoked.

The rise in the number of these hidden bankruptcies has emerged since a new bankruptcy code came into force in China on June 1, 2007....

According to Li, these new methods of withdrawal provide no guarantee for creditors' interests and also bring about a higher risk of credit default in the market as a whole and amounted to a huge waste of quality assets.

"Not only were these enterprises not making use of the market exit mechanism provided by the Law on Enterprise Bankruptcy, but in doing so, they also failed to take advantage of the the market economy's ability to efficiently allocate resources."

""The new law put an end to government-endorsed bankruptcy and eliminated the use of incentive measures like the writing off of bad debts from banks, etc.," said Prof. Li. "This is one of factors that has contributed to the downturn in the number of bankruptcy cases."

According to Wang Xinxin, a law professor at Renmin University of China and also a expert adviser for the drafters of the bankruptcy law's interpretation, officials need to fully understand the way in which the law on enterprise bankruptcy plays a role in the allocation of social resources.

Aside from establishing a procedure for enterprise liquidation, the law also contains important provisions regarding mechanisms to save enterprises in financial trouble.

Many areas lacked special courts devoted to handling bankruptcy cases and this hampered the courts ability to handle bankruptcy cases, according to attorney Yun Zhengyou, a partner of Beijing's Wei Heng law firm who also served as director of the committee which dealt with China's first bankruptcy case.

No Chinese financial institution has declared itself bankrupt since the financial crisis hit"

Trap, anyone?

Now, here we all know this system is doomed. The only thing which made us invest so much into places like GLP is the question of timing. Yet timing is precisely what eludes us all, as well as those who claim that it is timed and that they have figured it out.

Let's face it:

[link to www.biblegateway.com]

Yeah, we might realize that it's happening a week earlier than other people, and we might realize what it implies a year or two down the road as opposed to them.

But we will not be able to have a decade of vaguely worrying and anticipating's worth of advantage over all the unsuspecting sheep.

That is kind of disillusioning, hehe.

Nice number, I wish the thread could end on one like this.

Guess it wasn't meant to be.

Next stop: 222.

202 would also be nice.

When McHugh's C-wave goes down, however, and in case it does so in October, I suppose the thread would experience a revival.

Re: REINHARDT ...post your questions for him here.
approach reality for what it is: incalculable, it is not a Turing machine.

What makes me rather optimistic about it is this: the one thing that we can rely on regarding TPTB is they are running a strategy of thought. And that - even if in think tanks and assisted by supercomputers - is precisely where they are inexorably behind the speed of the process that's underway.

If what the collective statistical oracle is giving off on the net, then TBTP might actually be utterly blind to what they are up against, and what they are messing with. And this process that is underway is then of an uncontrollable quality, not only unexpected but unexpectable in principle, even if you turned the whole universe into a network of supercomputers.

They are messing with nothing less than the fundamental incalculable structure of reality which is also the fundamental structure of their own minds. And when I say "creepy" it is probably the understatement of the month, especially for them.

I knew somewhere this whole Reinhardt matter would have some sort of wormwhole that could lead us right back to the grand master of verbalistic eschato-yoga:

even though I debunked his Timewave Zero years ago and McKenna himself doesn't seem to have believed in the mathematical description.

But boy, will they be in for a surprise if they force themselves to confront the corrective side of what us primates have, for the sake of thinkability, erroneously called "god".

"Have mercy !" will likely be their last thought when they enter the reality of their own madness.

True, and it is kinda like when I wear my glasses into the ocean. I may not be able to get out of the way if somethings gonna eat me, but I'll at least see it coming, lol. Maybe in time to do one last finger, one last act of defiance. Can't take life too seriously, nobody gets out of it alive.

I don't think it will take much longer than winter, I hope I'm wrong. Thing is, being prepared may not be a good thing, sheeple will become zombies, desperate and confused... possibly more dangerous than TPTB. Not to TPTB, but to themselves and others.

Now I found this :

"The head of China's second-largest bank has said the United States government should start issuing bonds in yuan, rather than dollars, in the latest indication of the increasing importance of the Chinese currency." [link to www.telegraph.co.uk]

and this

"Green Shoots, Red Ink, Black Hole
Truly terrifying data about the real state of the U.S. economy."
[link to www.slate.com]

This is either a go for the whole thing, or they have truly lost control. I'm betting they are in control. Order through Chaos. Creation through destruction.

"Cisco Replaces GM on The Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Technology already has the attention of President Barack Obama, who is actively promoting such ideas as smarter electricity grids and computerized health records. And now, with Cisco, HP and Intel on the fabled stock index, along with IBM and Microsoft, elected officials may listen even more closely to the needs of Bay Area businesses, said Jim Wunderman, CEO of the Bay Area Council."

on another note:

"President Barack Obama promised Monday to deliver more than 600,000 jobs through his $787 billion stimulus plan this summer, with federal agencies pumping billions into public works projects, schools and summer youth programs.

Obama is ramping up his stimulus program this week even as his advisers are ramping down expectations about when the spending plan will affect a continuing rise in the nation’s unemployment.

Many of the stimulus plans that Obama announced Monday already were in the works, including hundreds of maintenance projects at military bases, about 1,600 state road and airport improvements, and federal money states budgeted for 135,000 teachers, principals and school support staff."

Hummm, could this be why they revamped and built all those detention centers??????

Banzai Puma just pointed this out to me

(which would likely cover what Reinhardt

[link to www.enterprisecorruption.com]

calls

The 41st and 42nd Enrons A.D. )

In September 1873, the American economy entered a crisis. This followed a period of post Civil War economic overexpansion that arose from the Northern railroad boom. It came at the end of a series of economic setbacks: the Black Friday panic of 1869, the Chicago fire of 1871, the outbreak of equine influenza in 1872, and demonetization of silver in 1873.
 Quoting: [link to en.wikipedia.org]

Note:

Equine influenza (Horse flu) is the disease caused by strains of Influenza A that are endemic in horse species. Equine influenza occurs globally, and is caused by two main strains of virus: equine-1 (H7N7) and equine-2 (H3N8).

"European governments have approved $5.3 trillion of aid, more than the annual gross domestic product of Germany, to support banks during the credit crunch, according to a European Union document.

The U.K. pledged 781.2 billion euros ($1.1 trillion) to restore confidence in its lenders, the most of any of the 27 EU members, according to a May 26 document prepared by officials from the European Commission, the European Central Bank and member states and obtained by Bloomberg News. Denmark, where 13 of the country’s 140 banks were bailed out by the central bank or bought by rivals last year, committed 593.9 billion euros."

Maybe the reason for the $ gaining ground? It's all Fiat Currency.

Somthing else interesting: "Investors in bonds that packaged $62 billion of debt for U.S. offices, hotels and shopping malls are bracing for more loan defaults through 2010 as Bank of America Merrill Lynch says landlords’ monthly payments may jump 20 percent or more."

"BlackRock announced a $13.5 billion merger with Barclays Global Investors today, making the former company the biggest money manager in the world. BlackRock will soon oversee $2.7 trillion in assets, making it roughly twice the size of State Street or Fidelity, its closest competitors. That’s $2.7 trillion under management… with a market cap of just $34 billion.

BlackRock will also pick up iShares in the deal. That makes the new world’s biggest asset manager also the world’s biggest wielder of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) -- the rabidly popular, complex derivatives (many of which track other complicated derivatives) that millions own, but very few truly understand."

"... total household debt in the U.S. fell 1.1% in the first quarter, or $13.8 trillion. The 2% decline in the fourth quarter of 2008 was the first on record, and thus last quarter’s decline marks the first ever consecutive quarters of household balance sheet repair. Consumer credit led the way, dropping 3.5% last quarter -- the steepest decline in the 35 years the Fed’s been keeping track.
But as debt fell, so too did household net worth. Total American wealth plummeted $1.3 trillion, or 2.5% in the first quarter of 2009. Household net worth is now around $50.4 trillion, $14 trillion shy of the 2007 high."

Re: REINHARDT ...post your questions for him here.
Logos, hopefully you got the email in time for today's activity. BB was unspecific, but specific just the same.

Here is another part that will look bad, but it will keep the crowd under control.

"Crops under stress as temperatures fall
Our politicians haven't noticed that the problem may be that the world is not warming but cooling, observes Christopher Booker". For the second time in little over a year, it looks as though the world may be heading for a serious food crisis, thanks to our old friend "climate change". In many parts of the world recently the weather has not been too brilliant for farmers. After a fearsomely cold winter, June brought heavy snowfall across large parts of western Canada and the northern states of the American Midwest. In Manitoba last week, it was -4ºC. North Dakota had its first June snow for 60 years.

There was midsummer snow not just in Norway and the Cairngorms, but even in Saudi Arabia. At least in the southern hemisphere it is winter, but snowfalls in New Zealand and Australia have been abnormal. There have been frosts in Brazil, elsewhere in South America they have had prolonged droughts, while in China they have had to cope with abnormal rain and freak hailstorms, which in one province killed 20 people.

In China, the world's largest wheat grower, they have been battling against the atrocious weather to bring in the harvest. (In one province they even fired chemical shells into the clouds to turn freezing hailstones into rain.) In north-west China drought has devastated crops with a plague of pests and blight. In countries such as Argentina and Brazil droughts have caused such havoc that a veteran US grain expert said last week: "In 43 years I've never seen anything like the decline we're looking at in South America." The rest at [link to www.telegraph.co.uk]

Now what isn't mentioned is that banks are not loaning to large private owned farms to plant crops. There is also no mention about Monsanto's franken weed that has plagued the south.

Thanks, I'll have to watch them. I don't think all Catholics are evil, but evil has worked it's way in. Not only there but also bible belt evangelicals, but mainly in the leaders. That doesn't make all followers bad, but many badly informed. Same goes for Jewish except for 1 select group. Don't get seduced into groups or what old people say "throwing out the baby with the bathwater". It is more that wolves hide amoungst sheep and use them as their cover. As long as TPTB keep us divided, we're beaten. Just like when some get onto Freemasonary when as numbers decline things get worse which tells me this group may have been what has kept a check on TPTB. Just a thought.

I don't think all Catholics are evil, but evil has worked it's way in.
 Quoting: hilly7 703634

But devout catholics themselves spearheaded those who pronounced this, and they continue to be devout.

I would say that at this point of evolution, this is true anywhere there is reflective consciousness and emotionality. I don't know of a single group that isn't partly corrupt.

My point about catholicism though was that even though evil and corruption has always strongly influenced church administration, probably soon after Yeshua departed (the denial of Mary Magdalene's role as a main holder of the lineage being among the main crimes, and I don't mean sexual links), catholicism still isn't satanist or pagan. If it is evil, it is not so on the petty grounds on which the evangelical consipracy theorists claim it is.

What really caught my attention after all these years of staying purposely clear of christianity and its silly dogmas, though, is how the power of That Man carries through the millennia despite all the corruption in his own legacy (for instance it is still there in the catholic eucharist stronger so than among the lutherans, I feel).
