I wondered the same thing myself. It would have been some sort of justice for the original islanders who are now "in exile" . |

With the size of the waves that hit India Diego Garcia should have received something. Thereīs nothing out there to diminish the wave. Diego Garcia is only 22 ft above sea level at itīs peak.
I canīt believe that it didnīt experience some sort of damage. |

Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory Navy personnel on board Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean are safe following the earthquake and subsequent tsunami that had devastating effects on Southeast Asia. Facilities and operations were not affected.
Favorable ocean topography minimized the tsunamis impact on the atoll. Diego Garcia is part of the Chagos Archipelago, situated on the southernmost part of the Chagos-Laccadive Ridge. To the east lies the Chagos Trench, a 400 mile long, underwater canyon that ranges in depth from less than 1,00 meters below the surface to depths that plunge to over 5,000 meters. It is one of the deepest regions of the Indian Ocean.
Diego Garcia is located to the west of Chagos Trench, which runs north and south. The depth of the Chagos Trench and grade to the shores does not allow for tsunamis to build before passing the atoll. The result of the earthquake was seen as a tidal surge estimated at six feet. |

What are you talking about! Obviously, you know nothing about the military - where one had to go and doo what is ordered?
For godīs sake (!) these were 18 - 19, 20 year old kids. No one deserved this.!!!

- itīs like an island prison - smack in the middle of nowhere, thereīs nowhere to go except via the obvious.
There is a large lagoon in the horseshoe shape- and no one is allowed to swim in it - thereīs a fione of $1000 doors if caught.
No one that has been there will talk about what goes on there. From what I learned researching all over the net, the island not only has a nuclear depot, but ALex Collier - of Andromedans fame -says there is a phenomena of some kind of energy force like the Devilīs Triangle - that at times can transport physical matter to other planets like Mars.
This is a well-kept secret the military has, from the populace. Yes, I believe it.
The military slime is keepig a great many secrets from us, for the same of control/power over us. I despise them.
Now, poeple, everytime you see a chopper or jets, or even chem trails over your heads, DONīT YOU WONDER WHAT IS BEING HIDDEN FROM US - WHAT IS GOING ON UP THERE?
Sorry, I got side tracked.
But definitely I well that that Tsunami was NO ACCIDENT.
Disinformation called for something big to happen on the 27, but the earthquate and tsunami were it ! 2 Days early.
ANd whatīs more, it may have been produced to take us Closer to GLOBALIZATION - cause now govs and people are scrambling for that "Global warning Signal" meaning more govs are tied together. |

Picture a normal person encountering GLP for the first time, having been unaware that such sites exist. (Fortunately, there are very few of them!) What would he think?
First, he would think that he must be imagining things. Then, having convinced himself that he wasnīt, he would think that most of the people who post here must live on another planet. And he would wonder how they avoid being locked up, and how they cope with daily life. |

You are so full of shit, My brother in law was in the Navy and stationed in Diego Garcia and went snorkeling in the lagoon all the time. even have pictures.
and thats fine, not fione.
the steepness of the island is what saved it look at how waves form when traveling into the shallows gradually.
if you look at the energy dissipation in the tsunami animations Diego Garcia got the least of it |

Just look on a map! its obvious, too far a way, not the direction the wave traveled, and diego garcia can be evactuated in a matter of hours if required. |

OK, letīs repeat this one more time...
When a tsunami is out in the open ocean it is BARELY a ripple. It only becomes large ("Stands up") as it approaches a large land mass. Diego Garcia is not a large land mass, it is actually just a pile of coral.
This is why Diego Garcia was not affected, but the Tsunami did indeed go right past them on itīs way to killing a couple hundred people in Africa. |

The inhabitants were ethnically cleansed by the British about forty years ago and transferred to Mauritius where they have been fighting for their right of return ever since. Consequently, there are no independent credible witnesses on the island and so we have no way of knowing whether or not there was any damage. |

If the phuking reptiles fail to stage and launch their planned attacks on Iran and Syria, it will demonstrate that their power base on; Diego Garcia, has been destroyed. Do you hear the shrieking, smirking chimp raving about attacking them anymore ? They didnīt say anything for days after the tsunamis, because they were stopped dead in their tracks, without Diego Garcia, being in operation any longer ! |
